We had the pleasure of having Taste of Lahore/Sunshine restaurant as our caters for my brother's wedding and walima events this... past weekend in NJ. The staff were extremely professional and accommodating. The food presentation was top notch especiallytheir cocktail hour and the actually dinner was amazing! We had multiple guest complimenting the food and asking for theircontact info. They were able to serve our 300 guests with no issues! With summer weddings and transporting food from far thereis always a fear of food going bad. We were extremely happy that we had no issues and bread was Cooked on tandoori at location. Food is great, however when I went the hot plates weren’t on so they microwaved it before giving it to me. There also isn’t... a menu. Whatever is in front of you is what you order. It’s basically a pocket friendly restaurant. The foods are average and the taste varies on how late or early you are visiting... this place. If you go there during lunch time or evening you will get some fresh food but if you visit during the closing hours,the taste might vary. I usually try out their haleem, which surprisingly is really good and made differently from the otherplaces I tried. The meat is minced and mixed properly with Haleem. I will rate it 8/10 The other day I tried their pakora,sadly it didn’t taste good for me. It was just blend and I couldn’t even taste anything. Cheap prices. Two people can easily eat for less than 30$. Food is pretty average for the area , not freshly prepared, but for... the price I would recommend. Open space. Not crowded. Unsure of parking. Would come back again . Not a fancy place but good ifyou live nearby and drop by on a weekend when you are too tired to cook at home. Read more
Really awful place. The food is laid out cafeteria style when you arrive. You select what you want from what they’ve had... laid out for hours (or days) and then if you want they’ll microwave it for you. It was honestly one of the worst foodexperiences of my life.
