Mediocre barbecue to me. That said, it remains a favorite to many long time locals. Pork was pretty good and their sauces are... fine. The lettuce in the salad tasted like refrigerator and the cole slaw was very sweet. Service was excellent! Read more
I eat here about once a month. The turkey and pork are almost always delicious. I?ve tried the brisket a couple times and... unfortunately it was dry both times. Lots of delicious sauces if you need them. Brunswick stew is good. I always love theirsalad with turkey on it. Read more

Busy Friday lunchtime yesterday and out of fries/slaw (I get it, No problem) but do not take your frustration with being busy... out on the customer! I have never been treated so poorly. came to pick up 2 lunches and it was chaos. Lost meals for customerswaiting in front of me, staff fussing at each other, then the older woman at the register had a bad attitude. At least 25 to gobags on the counter with no coordination or communication. I watched my food sit, waiting to be bagged for 10 min as the clerkcontinued to wait on new customers walking up to the counter. So we ordered the 2 meat combo with ribs and sliced brisket. You get 2 rib bones then the cook sent out some dried up brisket,... we told our wonderful waitress and she brought us fresh brisket. You can see the difference in the pictures. Fries were good andhot, the Mac wasn't all that. My husband got sweet potato (good) and baked beans (ok). Put me in the mind of Sonny's BBQ. A little pricey. I ordered the beef hawg with greens and baked beans. The sides were hot and... well-seasoned. The brisket could've used a little more seasoning, but I compensated with the sweet 'n tangy barbecue sauce. Mywaitress was super nice, so that was also a plus. Read more
