This would be a really nice place if they weren't so pricey and everything wasn't à la carté. From the time I got in there, my... son & I were intrigued, until I went to purchase a meal that was not available to me. On top of that, I requested for my food tobe fresh, but my fries were cold, overcooked, and my burger was not fresh. I like burgers! So anytime I can go to a "new" burger place, I'm all for it! Now, BurgerFi isn't really new. It was founded in... 2011. But it's new to me, and until a month ago I'd never heard of the place. But I was traveling through Jacksonville today onmy way to Orlando and it was the perfect day to visit BF. The three in our party all ordered bacon cheeseburgers, but withdifferent specifications. Mine came with two patties, the others got one. And there were differences in grilled onions vs. rawonion vs. no onion, tomato vs. no tomato, etc. But the basic build was the same: quality ground beef, American cheese, and baconbetween two buns. But that's the same build that everyone else has for a bacon cheeseburger, so what's the difference? Thedifference is in quality. The meat is natural Angus beef, the bacon is thick and crispy, and the cheese melts perfectly atop thebeef patty. The beef is cooked just right, not dried out like some places. And the produce is fresh and of the highest quality.So, the burger is a basic bacon cheeseburger, but the execution is top notch. Besides burgers, we also ordered a family sizefry and a large onion ring to split. We had a hard time deciding which we liked best. The onion rings are big! The onion ringbatter is light, reminding me of a beer batter, and the onion slices are thick. The onion is cooked all the way, but notovercooked. If you enjoy tasting onion in your onion rings, then you will probably like these. I did, as did everyone in ourgroup. But the fries were good too, obviously made fresh from real potatoes, and I really like that BurgerFi fries them with theskins on. They were delicious! Besides the food, the environment was very nice, sporting a modern industrial vibe. An outdoorpatio is available for seating and half the tables are shaded. Great evening out in downtown Jax. Prom night for our daughter so after photos at memorial park the parents went to Burgerfi.... Food was great and the staff is super friendly. We ate the food too fast so no pics of it. Read more
Had the conflicted burger, it was amazing. It has the crispy quinoa and a beef patty. Also tried the truffle fries which I ate... more of than my burger. Also ordered the Chocolate and Red velvet milkshakes. I was impressed by the fast service. Place wassuper busy and still got our food at a decent time. Gave us number and delivered to our table. Parking was hard they share aspace with grocery store and another restaurant. Friendly staff was also a plus. Read more
Really nice place! Very clean and everybody was very welcoming. I recommend one of the custards (kind of like a really thick... shake). It is on the more expensive side, but I think it is well worth it. You can sit inside or outside , order for to go aswell! My only issue was that they don't have regular ranch, they have 2 spicy ranches. The Cajun is the less spicy one. But Ithink offering regular ranch would be nice for people who don't like spiciness.
