This restaurant hands down worse experience I had. I gotten introduced to church's chicken through their 1855 Dunn avenue... location. Great service and Great quality with food. Since I was in this location I decided to try it with my son this time.First, when pulling up to the drive through, the cashier said on microphone she can't hear and to pull up to drive throughwindow. She said this to everyone ahead of me and behind...strike 1. This wasted soo much of my time along with others to takeorder through drive through window and waiting for order with cars piling up. Second, she told me the price for the 3 piececombo was different (more money with 1 side instead of 2 included side like in Dunn location) which is why I pulled out receiptjust to check. I guess every location is different?? That's what she said which is tricky to believe but I will do more researchregarding that...strike 2. Third, when I got my food, I asked for 2 BAKED macaroni and cheese for me and my son...instead, theyended up giving me 2 mushy UNDERCOOKED raw noodles dredged in nasty cheese sauce. Called ahead for an order of spicy chicken, l was told the truck just came in and give them a hour. ? l agreed ? also explained... my drive to the store was over 2 miles , upon arrival to counter one the cashier appears to be coming down off something and shealso was rude stated upon opening ?we have no spicy chicken or mac and cheese ? the strangest thing l didn?t even order mac andcheese or inquire about it! This chicken is so good and always made fresh. I typically have a large order when I come and it is always correct. The ladies... here are super friendly and nice. I'm glad they have a new manager as it has made the experience better, the manger before wasnot friendly at all and I stopped going for a while but lately it has been wonderful. Read more

I placed a order thru doordash for 3 piece combo spicy white, red beans and rice, apple pie, med lemonade. I recd 3 piece dark... spicy, no red beans and rice, hard biscuits. I did receive my drink with no straw and my apple pie. Had to call dash to get acredit. Read more

I had a GREAT experience. I used to live in the Ft.Caroline area as a kid and remember dad picking up Church's chicken for... eyons. Fast forward 35+ years....I live in the Beaches area and my 23 year-old son suggested he would really like to try it. So,a bit of a detour from my fast-route from downtown to the Beaches. Let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. People, you're notwalking into Ruth's Chris - just a disclaimer. Anyhoo...yes, it took some time but the order was FRESH (I went inside). The twogals - Manager I believe and an employee in the front were working it! Drive-thru, front area, etc. And they were constantlywashing their hands in front of me. I really appreciate how hard these folks must work knowing that 1/4 of folks are just goingto give them a hard time. I'm an executive today but recall my humble beginnings. I looked around and wondered if I was skilledenough to get behind that counter and deal with the expectations and pace of a short staff. This Restaurant is Disgusting !!!. Dirty walls & Stickey Floors. Bathrooms are Gross. No Soap or Paper Towels in the Bathrooms.... Poor ventilation , Super Smokey inside. The Cook didn't have on gloves when prepping the Chicken, let the stainer hit the trashcan when dumping it & put it back in the grease. Customer Service was horrible especially after we discovered that she triedto overcharge us & we ask for our money back. We will not ever go back !!! Read more

Dependable fabulous food if you can get past the rude Employees who are very reluctant to serve customers. I went in Is the... restaurant expecting to enjoy a wonderful lunch after fasting for medical test. Upon entry entry to the restaurant is restaurantI noticed all the employees were sitting at 1 table. I assume it was the manager who said to one of them employees you have acustomer who then got up and informed me she will be right back she needs to use the bathroom 1st. As I looked with astonishmentback to the table of employees the lady who instructed her to get up stood up when the employee said oh I'm just joking come onI'll help you . Astonished just standing there,I looked at the other employee neither one of them seemed to want to serve meserve me. So I said it's OK and I walked out. Read more
