On occasion I buy at least 2 or more donuts for my job when we work on Fridays and I never seemed to bring enough. Everyone... loves these donuts, raving how soft and fluffy they are. Love the chocolate glazed because it's an actual glazed donut withchocolate glaze on top. Diabetic coma here I come! I order and ugly or 2 for myself and they never disappoint. If there is a place on earth with better donuts I haven?t found it. Tried NYC, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, bunch in West Florida,... Italy, and so many more places. This is the best donut! Cash only and great donuts on a consistent basis. Opens early. There is not much else besides donuts. Canned drinks. Coffee with... creme or sugar. Self serve. I went here on Friday for National Donut Day. I arrived at 9 and almost all the donuts were gone. (They we?re making a lot more... but 45 min wait). I bought a cinnamon cake donut and a chocolate cake donut. Delicious. Frosting, texture and flavor were great.Would go back again. Taste better than Dunkin in my opinion. (Get there early!!) Absolutely delicious. These donuts can never make it home, we always eat them in a car because they?re so warm fluffy and... perfect. In addition to that they are only like a dollar which is insane because if you go downtown you?ll pay five dollars fora doughnut that?s worse. This place is a mom and pop shop where the donuts are ???? you just have to make sure to come thereearly because they are done making donuts after 9:30 AM. Also cash only. They have an atm. I?ve been eating Donut Shoppe donuts since I was 4yrs old (I?m 36 now) and they donuts have always been amazing. I?ve moved out... of Jacksonville and made a point to visit this weekend while in town. The donuts were still amazing but the customer serviceeven better. Everyone who works there is so pleasant and helpful! A dozen donuts were only $10. Great price. Happy that they?restill in business and making the world better with donuts. The Donut Shoppe has been an elusive mythical place to me for more than a decade because I've never been up early enough/had the... time to visit. Everyone seemed to rave about the donut shoppe. I finally made it over at 6am and bought 2 dozen in a variety.There was not a bad flavor among them! Cheaper than any chain donut store, SO much bigger and better, and the people were sopleasasnt! They were out of glazed donuts and instead of just saying 'no, sorry', the box was taken to the back and fresh donutswere grabbed as they were being glazed. Never before have I gotten a disclaimer on how to keep the glaze from melting off ofdonuts because they're THAT fresh. 10/10 willing to pull an all-nighter anytime just for some Donut Shoppe donuts. P.S. Thedonut holes are also to die for, but that can be said for anything on the menu. Read more
