If I could give zero stars I would ! Worse Jamaician food in Jacksonville!! $20 for curry goat with a plate full of hard rice .... Just say no and don?t go . My second time eating here and every time the rice is hard !! It?s sad !! And the cabbage washorrible !! I ate it the goat and tried to eat the cabbage but lord I should have just saved myself the troubles !! Hands down the best Jamaican food in Jacksonville Florida. The jerk chicken is to die for. Curry chicken is definitely the best... and very flavorful. The oxtail is likewise. I haven?t had a bad meal from this restaurant. Generous portions and great pricetoo. I highly recommend. When you are in Jacksonville be sure to drop in and pick up something to eat. Great food, awesome seasoning, good portions and a good price. It will be hard to find better Jamaican food anywhere else in... Jacksonville. It definitely has the flavour of the islands. Some reviews complain about the food being greasy, but Oxtail cannotbe any other way. And let me clarify something. Several reviews complain about the lady at the counter. Please let me explainthat, what you see as a despondent attitude, is just no other than the distance that women from the islands usually have withpeople they don't know. They are affable if you speak to them, but not warm the way we understand it in the south. The lady isstill there. She is very old. So take that into account as well. The restaurant is not a five star for me just because of theatmosphere. It is a simple place, where you could come and enjoy your food (served in a styrofoam box) minding your ownbusiness. Service is super slow and they have a system that they put your name on the reciept that doesn't work. I was there for a total... of 1 hour and 10mins so I was able to see how long the average order take.The patty and the Jerk Chicken are good but you mightwant to order ahead and don't make any plans for an hour.
