Oh my this place was busy for a Monday night. I got a sweet and spicy burger with gator chips. I asked for the same sauce in the... side and dipped my chips. The pic is how much was left. That was a great burger. Read more

There was no wait at all which was wonderful! They seemed to have a lot of staff working and our waitress was very nice. Our... food, however, left a lot to be desired. We ordered a pretzel appetizer which came out burnt. They advised us that they deepfried it which is why it looks that way. It was too hard and we sent it back. My wings were incredibly small for the price andwere also overcooked. Had I known they would be that small and that overcooked, I would have ordered something else. Myboyfriend got a blue cheese burger which had a great flavor but was cooked well done. He asked for it to be medium. We had moviereservations otherwise we would have asked for them to be remade, but we did not have time to wait on more food. I know the foodhas been good when I have gone before, and perhaps maybe this was an off night for the kitchen, but I am going to have a hardtime convincing my boyfriend to try it again in the future. Showed up at Dockside at 450pm I was seated and didnt get my water till 520 after I had to ask for the manager.. who ever sat... me should have notified the person working the tables.. there was 3 empty table around me. The lady sat 4 ppl at one table andwaited on them before I even got my water. This is a poor quality of serv in my opinion. There manager wasnt apologetic atall.. she was more passive about the whole story. There star today is a 1,5 got my wings at 535 the table next to me wasalready eating. Smh.. Update. My waitress never came by to check on me or my water. She looked from a distance to see if Ineeded water.. then she showed up with a cup of water.. after all that I asked for my bill and had to wait 10m. Smh. This is asad day at Gator Dockside.. I felt invisible today.. I rapped my day up at 625.. smh.. 4 2 22.. Update... Never took themenu.. Views? Read more

Spacious , clean & bright. Great service on a seemingly slow late lunch weekday. We ordered ribs, gumbo & cheese... steak. Excellent tasty ribs, savory gumbo (sparse with the meat) & cheese steak was okay. Ribs were the winner. Read more

This was our first time visiting and we were disappointed. We ordered the chips and queso with a side of salsa. The chips were... not fresh, cold, and had no taste. The queso is just melted Velveeta cheese with some ?Ro Tel? like mix and some sausage. Thesalsa is an off brand Pace Pacante sauce. (This cost $6.99.) When we asked for alternate chips, they brought the same cold chipsand offered pita chips that was actually soft pita bread with some seasoning on it. (Added on $1.99 to our bill.) I orderedgrilled shrimp with a side of Macaroni (additional $2 and some change) and a house side salad with ranch (additional $3.49). Themacaroni was cold and drizzled with white cheddar liquid cheese. The shrimp was dry and pepper ridden and when offered a buttersauce for dipping, it seemed to be the stuff they spread on bread. My other half ordered the shrimp and grits in which he seemedto like, but the grits had the consistency of mashed potatoes and the tails were still attached to the shrimp. My mom orderedThe battered fried shrimp with onion petals. The shrimp was tasty and a good size! The onion petals, however, looked to be a mixof old and new (you cold taste the difference). The drinks of Diet Dr. Pepper, Dr. Pepper, and a strawberry margarita with sugaron the rim were the best thing about our eating experience! Overall our bill was over $77 (without tip) for three people!Definitely not worth it! The waitress was nice, honest, helpful, and juggled many tables. All in all, If you are looking towatch several sports games at once on clear visible televisions, sit at the bar, and eat mediocre over priced food, this is theplace for you! (If there are multiple people at your table, Do not order the appetizer plate with several appetizers you choosefrom because you do not get enough for that $14.99. I saw it come out at another table.) ***The garlic bread pictured with thefish and grits was an additional cost of $2.99.** Read more

The restaurant has moved into its own building, and this is where they belong. The new building atmosphere is open and inviting... with inside and porch seating. The menu has changed a little, but the time-honored wings and Monte Cristo is still available. This was my first time back after two years not visiting. The service and food have improved immensely. I had the shrimp andgrits which were excellent, but the presentation needs a little work. It would also be nice if they removed the entire shell butthat's a matter of preference. The fried shrimp plate was good, but the onion ring breading was more like mushy grease. Still, the experience was nice and much better than the past. They tend to stay crowded so check Google to see if they are busy. Therestaurant is large so don't let the crowded parking lot scare you. TVs on every wall to keep the sports freaks happy. Overall,a much better experience and they are on my recommendation list. Read more

Went for lunch, the server was very personable & nice. Made good suggestions. Had the fried (pickled) jalapeños (not poppers,... they were out) & the boneless wings with traditional medium ???? buffalo sauce. The jalapeños were awesome! I couldn't stopeating them. They had just the right heat & zing from the vinegar. The wings were good, nice breading & the sauce was just whatyou would want for a buffalo sauce. The coleslaw is real test for me at any place, it was exceptional! I loved the cranberriesin it. Just the right out of sweet & lots of flavor. Many places really lack on the coleslaw. It's seems simple & silly but itcan really stand out when done right. I'll be back. Read more
