Let me tell you...this place was soooo GOOD that we ate breakfast and came back for dinner too. Amazing lunch. We love metro diner. Me and my fiance stopped in and finally got the fried chicken and the iron city meatloaf.... Honestly, the meatloaf blew me away. And I'm not a meatloaf person. And my fiance loved the fried chicken so much he ate it allbefore he even touched his sides. We even asked who the cook was, and we found out out was Josh. Kudos to Josh for amazingskills in the kitchen. And Nancy, our waitress, was super awesome. She was sweet and very attentive. Even made us laugh bytaking selfies with us because we take too long to order. And of course, she kept the coffee coming strong and hot, which is myfavorite diner coffee. Delicious as always! It's been a little while since I've been here, but today was as exceptional as per usual. My waitress Jamey... was fantastic and in point. She was very attentive and I didn't had to ask for anything. She visited us regularly and even whenordering gave some great suggestions for the kids. We had an amazing experience here today! It was our first visit and the service and the food was amazing. We had the breakfast... burger which was highly recommended and rightfully so! After noticing on Sunday you guys brought back the Pittsburg Steak Salad had to come in today and get. So glad you brought back... even though for a limited time. Our server Nancy was phenomenal. Ordered curbside via Metro Diner's website. I arrived curbside for my order. I clicked on the "I'M HERE" button (as instructed... by the website confirmation page) in the email that was sent from Metro Diner. It told me thanks for letting Metro Diner know Iwas here and that my food would be out shortly. I waited 10 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be complete. Afterwaiting 10 minutes past, I decided to go inside to check on my order or find out what was going on. Once inside, an employeecame to the front where I was standing and asked if they could help me. I replied that I was here for a "curbside" order andgave them my name. He walked over to a table nearby where some orders were sitting and he found mine sitting there and handed itto me. So I guess it wasn't really "curbside" service after all. (you need to take this option off the website if it's not goingto be honored) I'll gladly come inside if that is the only option but I'll take curbside if it's offered. So upon inspecting myorder once I got back to my car, I found that the creole mustard I had ordered was missing. So I went back inside and asked if Icould get some creole mustard that I had ordered but was missing. Unfortunately they were out of creole mustard but didn't askif I wanted any other sauces in it's place. The man that was helping me just went ahead and asked the chefs in the back to getme some honey mustard without checking with me first on what I would prefer. I asked the man for some BBQ sauce, after healready asked the cooks for honey mustard, if they didn't have creole mustard. So he ended up handing me both honey mustard andBBQ sauce. I appreciate the honey mustard, but it was wasted because I don't really care for honey mustard. As for the food, Iordered the chicken tender plate with double mash & gravy.
