Tried eating here after a Jaguars game and couldn't get a seat so I went next next door to Shor for dinner instead but did stop... back over to Morton's for an after dinner drink. I don’t want to be too long winded but I do want to give a detailed review of our meal. The short version is our steaks were... excellent and topped off nicely with the lava cake. I don’t regularly eat at steak houses of this caliber. It’s more of anoccasional thing for my wife and I, however, I do know a good steak when I see one. First, the service was excellent! Taylorwas attentive and helpful with the menu items and gave wonderful suggestions. We both went with filets. I got the 12 oz becauseI was a little more hungry and my wife got the 8 oz. They paired nicely with the sides of loaded mashed potatoes and Brusselssprouts. We shared the lava cake for dessert. I could really go on but suffice it to say all the items were wonderful! A bit onthe pricey side but if you get the chance to splurge I would definitely recommend Morton’s! Read more
I have had 50+ Bone-In Ribeye's from Morton's but this is my first one since they reopened in Jacksonville. I have always... ordered/asked the same way even in other states. I guess I should have know better than paying 100.00 for a steak/delivery/tipbut this was soooo bad and the first time it came like this! If my steak was like the first picture/last night's food it wouldhave been one and done! The 2nd picture is how it always comes every time without having to order a special way and have severalmore pics like the second one!! 7/14/22 - So i get a response to give feedback with a link to my Landry's account that wasnever used for this order nor was all of the comps associated with it for years? It was Mother's Day for me. My host was superb, my daughters and I had the best seats in the room. The staff was kind,... professional and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding, the beverage recommendation was top notch for the occasion. The menuwas just enough, easy to read and choose from. The facility was very clean, restrooms well kept, the manager was overwhelminglygracious and their overall hospitality exceeded my expectations. The river view was perfect cost matches the quality. Morton's should be on every steak afficiado's list of places to dine. The 12oz USDA prime filet is large, fork tender, and will... please the most discerning palates. Sides are large, sharable for two, and equally delicious and tasty. Mixed drinks arepotent and sassy. The Caesar salad was perfect in every way: it arrived with cheese crusted crunchy bread sticks - so muchbetter than crotons. A large loaf of freshly baked bread with butter just right. Taylor was our server and she was wonderful,attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. For a very special night out, Morton's will make you happy. Read more
While staying at the Hyatt on the River, I decided to take myself to dinner. I was concerned about not having a reservation, but... I was welcomed and seated outside with the beautiful sunshine. The service was exceptional! From Jeff being our waiter, to the manager Ashley correcting the mistakes as they were brought to... her. The food was beautiful. However, the kitchen need some improvement. More seasoning to enhance flavors and food was on thecolder side. My Filet Mignon was not seared on the outside properly at all. My Salmon was good.
