I had the pleasure of dining here the other night and I must say it?s about time we had a place that had good customer service.... NYC doesn?t give you a pleasurable experience like Slice does, but one employee really stood out to me. Excellent pizza! Best in Oakleaf! Fresh toppings and huge slices!! Friendly staff and they even have a jukebox to play your... favorites!!! By the way, did you know that at 8pm the leftover slices are $1 each!!!!! My favorite employee is ?Jay? because sheknows I like to ask for my pizza less toasted on the bottom. ;). Read more
For better or worse another's experience may vary....a few things I appreciate about this place. Foremost is that I saw a cook... in the back scratch his head and then immediately went to wash his hands. Had he not done so I would have walked out. The pizzais good, thin slices with good sauce and good stringy cheese. The garlic knots are full of garlic but they're tasty. I've beentwice and both cashiers I've dealt with have been more than helpful and kind. There is seating available high top and tables butit seems more carry out centered. I'll definitely be back. Never again. Went in there the first week I moved here. Who I'm assuming was the owner was very rude and her employees were... teenagers who were just sitting around and talking mess about the guests. Pizza is basic. Nothing special, just dough, cheese,and pizza sauce. For something so basic, I definitely would not have her attitude. Never went back and I see why the place hadonly 4 people there during lunch. Enjoyed my first experience overall. The garlic knots were delicious and enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza slice. I tried the... pickle ranch pizza..not for me! Customer service was decent. No Pepsi or Dr. Pepper available at the time :/ However, enjoyedenough that will be back. The price was not bad for what I ordered. I want to try the calzones! Read more
Basic pizza. Garlic bread with cheese was good.. but if you are looking for a pizza that taste like pizza hut.. and you want to... pay more for it. This is your place. Service wasn't bad and the place was clean.. but sauce is very acidic. Best pizza near hereis still NYC Meatballs. Read more
More than just great food, great people work here too. Slice has that old school, people first approach that so many other... businesses have lost, and that means alot to us. While the food could be a standout on its own, as it is fantastic, ourinteractions and visits are always highlighted by above and beyond experiences with the team. Who else still takes the time tomake little kids smiley faced pasta anymore (without even asking)??? Well, Slice does it. We have always had a 5 starexperience after nearly a dozen visits.
