I went here last week with my husband for the first time and we absolutely loved it! Not only is the venue and golf course a... gorgeous setting, the food was top-notch and incredible. We loved the drink menu as well. We tried the Mexican corn appetizerdip and that was so good! The service there was fast and friendly. Friendly, inviting atmosphere and attentive staff round out this great Jacksonville venue. Also, thegolf course is very well kept and provides fun for all ages and skill levels. We arrived and it was busy. There were no tables available and that was fine. We weren?t in a rush. There were 3 seats at the... bar and there were 3 of us so said no big deal as will sit there, have some drinks, and if food takes a little bit it?s notproblem. The ?bar manager? ( I use quotes as anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant knows that this isn?t how you manage)told us that we can?t sit in the open seats and must leave because they are too busy. We didn?t demand immediate attention orsay that we had a time schedule to attend to. 1) the intention of a bar is to fulfill the overflow of waiting guests 2) to be sorudely told that they were too busy to accomodate us under any circumstance or timeframe is inappropriate. Clearly I can?tcomment on the food but you are who you hire and to put someone in charge with a lack of realization of how the restaurantbusiness works says plenty. Our money will be spent elsewhere. I had the bacon wrapped fillet and my wife had the prawns.. both were delicious and the prawns were huge! They have a great... lunch menu and they have several entrees like 2 8oz catfish fillets. They have great drink options as well. Definitely will begoing back!! Read more
