Live music ???? ? Awesome. There was some wait. Great Pizza ???? We get the Chicago 7 no sausage add sun dried tomatoes.

While this has been a restaurant on our rotation of eateries in the area, this visit will be the last. About 25 open clean... tables, but we had to wait for a table to be bussed before we could be seated. Little annoying, but i inderstand beingunderstaffed on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was great but the food was definitely not up to par. We decided to orderappetizers instead of a full meal. Sicilian rolls maybe had one slice of pepperoni. The Italian Nachos are about a third ofthis size that they used to be. The only twisted thing about the Twisted Tenders was they tasted exactly like regularmicrowaved frozen chicken tenders, not to mention the wrong sauce being plated. If a ZERO was possible - this place would be it!! Started with a waitress that was really NOT good at follow up. We waited for... 20 minutes to place our order, and not because we weren't ready!! My husband ordered an NA beer. As a recovering alcoholic thisis his ONLY option. He was very clear what he wanted & the waitress told him what his options are. When she finally brought ourdrinks, she set them all down in front of one adult & a 6 year old. Imagine, a 6 year old with 3 tall draft beers & a bottledirectly in front of him, and to top it off - the waitress brought a real Heineken for my husband. The food was mediocre ATBEST. We ordered 2 pizzas, & 2 kids meals. Our pizzas were NOT hot, even borderline warm. But, the kids mac-n-cheese for a 2 yrold was STEAMING hot! None of it had very much flavor. When we received the bill the Heineken (we sent back because it wasn'twhat we were told) we were charged for it. The waitress responded "oh, I thought she took it off". The food was good when we got it. We ordered 3 orders of pepperoni rolls and waited over an hour for them. I would?ve understood... if it was busy but me and my friends were the only ones in there. We also ordered a salad which came after the pepperonirolls. Can?t say much for our server she was more interested in talking to her friends than taking care of us. Had to askrepeatedly for refills and then finally had to ask a manager to get us some. We were going to order dessert but decided to go toFreddy?s because by the time we would?ve got it we would?ve aged 5 years. We asked for the check but had to pay with cashbecause we waited 20 minutes and the server never came back to get our card. After walking out of 3 restaurants on an early Sunday afternoon after it was obvious the service wasn?t staffed appropriately... for their patrons, I was so happy to walk into Old Chicago for the first time. It?s a pizza place but they had a burger on themenu and I really wanted a burger?and a Guinness. I found both. The burger was perfectly cooked as ordered and very tasty. Iam not a waffle fry person but they were good as waffle fries go. Service was a breath of fresh air after the 30 minutes offrustration previously. As it is close to my home I will be returning. Hit this right before happy hour ended and these pizza rolls and nachos are great and cheap! Wish I had more time to come back... and try the pizza. Maybe on the next trip. Worth the stop. Read more

Went here on a Saturday and had a create your own bbq sauce based pizza it was awesome. SUNDAY came around we decided to have it... doordashed. The pizza was so undercooked and soggy. The sauce tastes like diced tomatoes just plonked onto the pizza and it wasso doughy I had to put it in the oven and still that didn?t help it!! Disappointed as my dine in experience here was great. Walked through the door & no one even said hello, did not acknowledge our presence until the woman helping the to-go delivery... drivers finally came over. Ordered food - 2 apps, 2 personal pizzas, & a kids meal. Kids food came, all was good. About 15 minslater, one app came, garlic cheese bread; floppy & under done but good fresh garlic flavor. After about 30 mins, they finallybrought out our 2 personal pizzas, both undercooked. Halfway through those, we told the waiter to forget about the 2nd app sincewe were almost done. That's when they magically appeared ready from the kitchen... waiter was super nice but based on food,probably won't be back. Read more
