The staff was friendly, place was clean, food was so delicious even the soup stood out! It was slightly busy and wait time was... pretty average but so worth it. The drinks were made delicious and not cheap weak. I didn't have a child with me so not sure ifthe have a kids menu but it was kid friendly enough. Would recommend this place for sure! Read more
BBQ sauce too vinegar tasting and too sweet, ice tea horrible most awful tea ever, brisket too fatty, chicken was delicious,... ribs burnt and overcooked not good, pulled pork would have better but that terrible BBQ sauce drenched them. They have thesoftest most delicious sourdough bread, lemonade taste like lemons soaked in horse trough water and poured from and dirty sweatyboot. Back porch is an accurate description of this joint. We used Back Porch BBQ to cater our micro wedding and I?m thrilled that we did! The food was delicious! They arrived on time and... worked well with our other vendors. I have eaten here many times and have enjoyed the food. Until tonight.... Im sure the food is still fine but the service was... atrocious. Our order was taken and we waited. We got our salads... And waited.... The waitress stopped by once and said "Ihaven't forgotten you" Later she dropped off some fried green beans that we didn't order because she knew we were waiting avery long time. Finally the people that were seated behind us 15 minutes after us had finished their meal an were leaving, andyet our food never came out. We were waiting over an hour for our food to come. Finally I got up and told our waitress that Iwould like to pay for what we had received because we were not waiting anymore. She said where is your bill? I said itslikely wherever the food is. She said what does that mean? I said we were never served our meal and others that came way afterus have been served and eaten and are leaving and I'm not waiting anymore. She seemed surprised and said "Who was yourwaitress?" I said "YOU!" She said oh you don't need to pay anything. Don't worry. I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Very sadindeed. I used to love going there. Rumor has this place used to be mediocre years ago but has stepped it up and I can vouch for that. Everything we had from a wrap... my mom described as the best she?s ever had to potato salad that rivaled my grandmas (no easy feat). Fun, festive and friendlyto boot! Read more
The mark of a great restaurant is when the food doesn't meet their standard, but they more than make it right. Some of the meats... were dry (although the Cajun Steak Bites were extraordinary)! Service was exceptional and they comped part of the bill, evenafter bringing out extra food. Great atmosphere too. Can't wait to try the Lime Chicken! Read more
I have long stopped taking pictures of their fantastic food, let's just say it is a weekly experience for our family. We like to... go a little early at 4:00 or 4:30 so that we can get a table before the rush. My husband and I don't really even look at themenu anymore we know what we like and so do the waitresses. If you like really good smoked meat, amazing sides and an old timebarbecue atmosphere, this will be the place that you will love.
