We booked our reservations by calling, excellent customer service from the start of the call, very professional. The young woman... even asked if we were celebrating a special event. The food selection was amazing, server was well versed in wine pairings, which we loved! The food presentation was beautiful, the new risotto is flavorful and the toasted meringue cake was to die for.Who I can only assume was the restaurant manager stopped by our table for a brief chat, she was warm and very welcoming, westopped in the wine bar to pick up a bottle of wine on our way out, it was beautifully designed, fantastic wine selection, veryknowledgeable staff. All in all the Jacksonville Inn quickly rose to the top of our favorite place to visit this trip to Oregon. Read more

Shared an incredible dinner here with my husband for my birthday. We had a delectable seafood chowder and homemade bread to... start. This time of year, every restaurant around has a roasted beet salad, so of course we had that, too! Great contrast ofsweet and sour flavors and it had the most roasted beets of all the salads I've had elsewhere, so kudos on that for sure! We hadthe buttermilk fried chicken and Parmesan crusted halibut. Both were delicious and we really appreciated the little details likethe crispy parsnips, quite a nice surprise. We didn't leave a single bite of anything and although we couldn't eat anothersmidge, we got the Meyer lemon pot de creme just for fun...WOW! Absolutely incredible! Ate every bit of that, too! Thank you toour server Nico, you made our evening perfect! Read more

I've not stayed at the Inn, but I've eaten there. I like the patio out back when weather permits. The wait staff is polite &... knowledgeable about the menu. I must eat gluten free so eating out can be a challenge at times. They took all the challengeaway... I had a fabulous meal. FYI, the beet salad is to die for! Read more

Food is great, service too but brunch is what I have always come for and it?s completely changed since they reopened. No more... complimentary anything I was really surprised. No champagne, no scones, not sure if we get a fruit cup anymore either. Pricesup, and no more freebies is very disappointing. Still good but if you come back in 2022 expecting 2019 vibes, forget it. Onlyopen Sunday now too. Read more

I was visiting my family and they wanted to take me to a special restaurant for dinner and chose the Jacksonville Inn. They had... been there before and thought it was beautiful and the food was wonderful at the time. However, this time it was completelydifferent. We sat outside where the atmosphere was unpleasant. The outside area was consumed with flies which made it verydifficult to eat in peace without continuously swatting the flies away from sharing your food with you. I ordered the salmonwhich was not cooked the way I requested and had to send it back. By the time my salmon was returned to me, the other people atthe table were almost finished eating. The strong fish smell was unappetizing, the flies were continuing to swarm, and thesalmon was not edible. After the waitress asked me how I liked the salmon and I told her it was not good, she commented that shewas sorry. She did not offer to bring me something else. The other people at the table (we were a party of 5) were not happywith the food they were served either, and needless to say we were all disappointed and will never return nor will we recommendeating at this restaurant again. It doesn't even deserve one star. Read more

We love everything of this restaurant. Prime Rib was well cook and separated two plates for us to share. We selected grill... vegetables and mashed potatoes to match the meat, of course, with the suggestion of our wonderful server. The appetizer ofoysters was delicious, beautifully tasting with the local Chardonnay. They has a list of salads and offer half size, so you cantry more than one at a meal. Thanks for providing great food, excellent service with such a reasonable and affordable pricerange!?? Read more

Rented out 7 of the 8 rooms for a wedding weekend. All the rooms looked great and the one we stayed in was good. The various... rooms had differently sized bathrooms and the main room had a copper tub in the room itself. The overall weekend was good andwe all thought it was a good experience and would recommend it. We had breakfast at the restaurant and while the service wasgreat the fine dining food was trying too hard. Our table of 7 had mixed reviews on the food but the staff were great. If youare going to be in Jacksonville, stay here. Read more
