This is our first time at Umi Sushi and we are loving it. We began with a refreshing bowl of cucumber salad for just $5. Then I... went with the Korean bulgoggi which was delicious and was served with a side of rice and a salad. My wife went for a spicy bakedsalmon plus a California roll. Our son had the teriyaki bowl. The location is small and may fill up fast on the weekends. Weshowed up right as they opened and got a private table in the side room with a view of the main street. My one suggestion forthe restaurant, carry Ramuen drinks, especially melon ????. Other than that the servers were very attentive and came to ourtable at least 4 time s during our dinner. We had a blast ordering and eating sushi. The sauces and rolls were tasty. I would have loved to see more rolls with asparagus,... jalapeño, mango. Most of them were stuffed with crab salad giving them similar tastes and textures. The service was good. Idon?t believe they take reservations, but we were able to walk in on a Saturday with little wait. My favorite roll was the extraspicy roll...they applied the wasabi for you!! Cheers ???? Read more
Staff is friendly and helpful. Sushi cut in large portions (will ask for smaller cut next time). Everything looks wonderful but... the TOKYO ROLL is the bomb! Tempura shrimp, crab, avocado, topped with salmon and a thin slice of lemon with masago and 2sauces..YUM! 8-9 pieces 17$. Will definitely return to try new dishes time and time again. Read more
Took a very special lady out for dinner to Umi. We arrived pretty early in the evening and its a good thing because there was a... 45 minute wait for a table. But that is perfectly understandable given the covid precautions and reduced tables. We had a misoto start our meal and it was hot, tasty and flavorful! Had some tofu and plenty of green onions and seaweed. We chose severalrolls and a few octopus nigiri. Everything was really top quality. The flavors of the sushi were bright and fresh. Overall therestaurant was very clean and well organized. Will be back for sure! Read more
