What a wonderful local spot! Great service, great cocktails, and great food. They hit all the marks. We did the brunch this... morning and we?re so impressed with the menu options and it tasted wonderful. We also got the fresh juice margarita the nightbefore?so delish. This is hands down our favorite eatery/cocktail spot near Jamaica Beach. Read more

Absolutely delicious food! The fried snapper and lobster roll were both fantastic. And the rice?I don?t normally eat rice but... it was a true standout. The hand crafted margaritas are hands down the best I?ve had. I wish I could give it 10 stars! Friendly staff, great food and cocktails! Read more

We would really like to see this place make it. It?s in a good location in terms of having a semi-captive audience. The food... is better than average (kudos to the Chef and cook staff). The decor is appropriate to the area with a hint of fun. Theoutdoor patio is nice as well as the seating upstairs and of course, around the bar. The service is unique in the fact that itis not rude but yet at the same time not necessarily friendly. Perhaps aloof is the best way to currently describe it. Theyalso oddly enough do not accept cash. So if that is your typical form of payment, there are other restaurants very close by.It?s just a bad decision by ownership because you?re forcing people to move on. Everything should be built around theconvenience of your customers. As a mentor, one time, told me, be very careful in making a decision that makes it easy for a customer to decide to go elsewhere. This is especially true when you?re working very hard and have invested a lot of money in anarea that has a limited audience. You also have to be mindful that sometimes the staff is dressed more like they?re ready for ashift at a sketchy Hooters. This is not a knockout factor for us, but you could see that a lot of people who come in and seethe appearance of the staff, begin to second-guess whether they are going to stay or not. Again, we hope this restaurant makesit and as well for itself. Read more

What a great addition to the west end!!! Great food, service, and live music on the patio. Waitstaff very attentive and... friendly. Great drinks- try the citrus Tequlia. Goat cheese caprese very fresh; wings were spectacular; fish and chips notgreasy; margarita chicken sandwich and burger very tasty. Must have the funnel cake fries for dessert!!! Much better than thesame o / same o on the west end!!! Read more

We tried Galvestonite Bistro for the first time today. I ordered the crab cake stuffed avocado and my husband had the fish and... chips. The portions were generous and we both enjoyed our meal. The French fries were unique (never had ones like these at anyother place before). The manager was nice and helpful. We will dine here again soon! Read more
