Love this place! My standard go-to lunch is the Katsu (pork) and for dinner usually a sushi boat or one of their many Korean... dishes, tastes just like I remember from my many years living in Seoul. Excellent service is the icing on the cake. Can't gowrong. Read more

JP Seafood has been around for years!! The secret, it has maintained the integrity of the quality, quantity and menu with the... passage of time! This is not lost on the locals or newcomers. My favorite is the lunch menu. You can get healthy, tastyaffordable selections whether it be the (preceded by Miso Soup) Bento Box or Sushi. The dinner menu (scaled down) is alsoavailable. You can dine alone or with friends, and have a view of the tropical fish tanks flush against the wall. The ownerslive in the neighborhood and that may also have a bearing. The sense of loyalty and responsibility to the community! I've seenmany other restaurants come and go in the Neighborhood, yet JP Seafood has stood the test of time! The service is very attentive, but a bit too 'professional' (lack of eye contact, smile...). The food was ok, but not exciting.... The duck dumplings were filled with a creamy cheese/mayo sauce, and had shreds of duck. No duck flavor at all. The ramen wasrather flavorless, and the addition of 4 shrimps and three very small slices of pork roast wasn't worth the extra $4.50. Themenu is gigantic, comprising pages of Korean, Japanese, ... dishes. Probably not a good idea of trying to offer all, but nothitting most of it?! Read more
wouldn't expect this great sushi place to be on centre Street in JP, but sure am glad it is! we sat at the bar with a view into... the sushi making. really cool spot. sushi, seaweed, soup and dumplings were all great. prices very reasonable! service wasgreat. Read more
