Had a medium pizza with sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was badly burnt, not just charred as the owner stated when he was told it... was burnt. I did eat half the pie, but it sucked. Owner didn’t apologize or offer a refund or at least a discount off thebill. My wife had an eggplant sandwich which was OK, and we had an order of fries and two cokes. The pizza was $20. and thefries were good but rather expensive. $8.00 for an order of fries. The total bill was $48.00. Overpriced and the worst pizza Iever had. Read more

Both times I've been here have been fantastic. I waited for my chicken bacon ranch pizza for Takeout and they asked how I liked... it (more or less ranch, etc.) To make sure it was perfect. The pizza itself is the best around hands down, real shredded chickenand perfectly crumbled bits of bacon. Even once full I can't stop until it's all gone. Plus, they have bottled and on tap Boylansoda! Worth every penny! Read more

The food was excellent and very reasonable priced. The staff was incredibly friendly and it was nice to briefly talk to the... owner. I enjoyed the food. The "burnt" look of the crust alarmed me but it was actually very tasty. Also because of the diet I am... currently on, I'm not usually able to eat a lot of food at 1 sitting. This man is a liar! I would never throw food at anyone! I placed a box on the counter opened it up and ask them to take a look... at it I asked to speak with a manager who had been unavailable to speak with at the moment your staff is lying to you if youhave cameras post the video of me throwing food at your employees! Prove it! I'd love to see it. Save your money and your time!This is coming from a customer that has been eating "vitale and pete's" pie for a long time. I had previously posted givingthem a 5 star review but feel after this latest experience they are no longer 5 star worthy. I ordered a large lynda's combo andwas told 30 minutes. The wait never bothers me but it had taken an extra 15 minutes and when I went home and opened the box Iwas in shock at what I received. At first I thought it looked much smaller from previous orders but had hoped it would tastelike the last one. After eating a doughy undercooked slice I returned the pie to them asking them to dispose it in their trash. I didn't ask for a refund, I hope posting this saves someone a few bucks ANYWHERE else! The thin crust margarita pizza has crust like a cracker, and the pizza had holes in it! I wanted at least a full pizza! The... Bavarian pretzels didn't have salt on them, and didn't seem fresh. Great pie. Nice char. Thin crust. Real old school style. Great sauce! Definitely one of the best in the area, originally stated... as Pete’s Pizza in the 70’s and has changed names several times but the recipe has stayed the same. Definitely worth a stop! Read more

First time here. Ordered 2 personal pizzas for take out. Told me 35 min. Annoyed but hungry so placed order and ran... anothererrands. Should have checked before i left but now in a hurry. Opened box to burnt puzza. Caled and spoke to manager,matt, who said this is how they come since they are cooked in a pan.said it was like a bar pie. Have had many bar pies thatnever wereburnt. Said if i wanted to dig them out of garbage and bring them back i could get a refund. Are you kidding. Iwanted to send him pics but he was not interested. Calling back to didpute the charge.
