Well, this chain restaurant is high on our list when we travel. So we were excited to see one close to the hotel. Walking in... there was no greeting like in other cities we have visited. The door hostess seemed annoyed when my husband asked for a boothwhen she attempted to seat us in an area already overly crowded. To me that set the tempo of a bad experience. The waitress tookour order and at first seem friendly. However, I noticed she refilled several customers coffee while mine sat empty. I tookoffense to that and it really sealed my thoughts about this particular location. Instead of making a scene, we finished ourbreakfast, left a tip I felt was not earned, paid the bill where the cashier didn't even acknowledge a word and took the money.At that point I vowed never to return again. But the food was okay and hot when it arrived to the table. Since the vibe was offand ruined our start to a good day, I didn't get a photo of the food and I apologize for that. My review is to make othertravelers aware, if they are people of color, what might to expect. My hope is maybe these individuals were having a bad day andnot the other case due the state of our society lately. Read more
Went there for breakfast and the service was faster than the dinner service. Night staff seemed upset when customers came in and... acted like it wasn't their job to seat people. The one waitress working had all the tables, needless to say order's were takenafter sitting for a long time and the kitchen staff didn't seem to be in any hurry to make everyone's orders. I would recommendto go earlier in the day due to the way the night shift treated customers! Read more
Stopped at Bob Evans in Jamestown Friday august 26, Slowest waitress ever works there on a busy Friday evening and they only... have two waitresses on. One waitress- very efficient, the other?. Well we waited for 20 plus minutes after we were seated, nevergreeted never offered a drink or a I?ll be right with you! So if you don?t mind waiting on a slow waitress and a long wait- Thisis the place for you! We left and went to a restaurant that wanted our business?. Read more
We got there just before closing, they served us our meals and we didn't feel rushed eating. Very good service. Friendly staff.... Great choice of food and tasted wonderful! Read more
Not so lucky I never heard of a Bob Evans until our journey to Indiana and luckily there was one right across from our hotel!... Beyond good it was so hard to choose???????? Read more
We are fortunate, living here in the very western portion of NY State. There are 3 Bob Evan Resturants withing a 25 mile radius.... One at Fredonia/Dunkirk, one at Jamestown and one at Warren PA. All three are very clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful,the food is well prepared and reasonably priced. My favorite is the cup of sausage gravy and two biscuits. I told the chef atone of the Clubs I belong to that he should go to Bob Evans and learn to make delicious biscuits for his strawberry shortcake.For a good, fairly fast service meal don't overlook Bob Evans. Still a first class breakfast experience. I still love this place. Excellent Brioche French Toast, scrambled eggs and home... fries. But the sausage is still the best reason to eat here. So tasty and delicious. Wish we had a local one. Read more
Very clean . Good food. Went there with two other people.. The waitress we had never checked on us.. the guys I was with needed... more coffee.. she came back to give us the check they asked for another cup. She was rude. They got it .I asked for my refill onmy Pepsi. I didn't leave a tip .. but one of the guys did. I think they left her a bigger tip then what she should of gotten Read more
