Traveling along the lonely highway at night, we needed something to eat. Jamestown was 50 miles east, so we called and... ordered. Walked in, and it reminded me immediately of every small-town pizza place I ever visited as a kid: no frills, a bitworn from decades of repeat and loyal customers, a bit plain, and clean as a whistle. In my experience, a sign you?re in forsome great pizza. And Lena?s was no exception. We got a simple cheese pizza, which in my opinion is the best pizza to judgepizzeria quality. Medium thick crust, not too dense, fluffy yet toothsome. Sauce just tangy and savoy enough to be noticed, anda generous helping of melted, stringy mozzarella. And the best part is that a small cheese was only $8.75. I?ve paid more thanthat for just a decent pizza, but this pizza was truly delicious. Seems like the locals already know this place, but, as apasser through, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Fantastic pizza, unbelievable value. Will 100% come back if I?m anywherenear Jamestown, NY ever again. Read more

Make sure your paying attention when you pick up you order. Even though they had my name, still somehow handed me the wrong... pizza. Said it was my fault and that I either eat the wrong pizza or come pick up the correct one. $25+ on pizza, 14 miles onetrip so 28 total. I hope this $30+ pizza is worth it because your customer service ain't worth my money again Read more

There are many great places to get pizza and/or wings in Jamestown... For pizza, Lena's is the best. For wings, they may not be... #1, but they're top 3 and close enough to #1 more than satisfy. They have a very small menu--one of those places that focusedon perfecting a handful of things vs mediocre-ing a variety of things. All their pizzas are delicious--the basic pepperoni, thewhite pizza, the chicken wing pizza... Don't sleep on their chicken fingers either, they're sneaky INCREDIBLE. So why 4 starsinstead of 5? A few fairly minor inconveniences: 1) They don't deliver, nor are they available on any delivery apps. 2) Youcan only order in person or by phone--and they only have one phone line, which is often busy from all the other people trying toorder their pizza. I once had to call 17 times in a row before I got someone on the phone--that's not an exaggeration. Thesilver lining here is they're clearly in demand. Everyone in town knows they're the best, so it's a rat race to get your orderin. 3) The staff is often a little grumpy. I chalk it up to them being so busy. When you go in there, you'll see them allracing around, multi-tasking, trying to keep up with all the orders. I don't entirely blame them for seeming a little on thegrouchy side, but I have to list it here as one of the inconveniences contributing to their missing star. All that said, Lena'sis worth the minor hassle those few inconveniences present. The food really is that good. Read more
