Loved this restaurant. First time there. We had the deviled eggs and duck wonton as appetizers. I had the andouille and chicken... pasta which they toned down the amount of cherry peppers for me. Other entrees in the group were a chicken sandwich, salmon withpasta and Mahi Mahi tacos, all of which got rave reviews. Desserts were delicious with the last slice of pumpkin cheesecake, alight lemon marscapone lemon cake with raspberry sauce and tiramisu. Definitely going back bit recommend reservations. Read more

Great meal, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. We ordered 2 Thursday special margaritas ($7), calamari in a sweet chili... sauce, stuffed rigatoni and one of their salads on special that had chicken and fruit on it. Would definitely come back nexttime we're in Cuse. Read more

Find food, fine cocktails, very attentive service. Good place for a nice slow-paced dinner with conversation. They're not in a... hurry to flip the tables. Of course, the restored schoolhouse atmosphere is pretty cool. They do have an outdoor patio, but it'ssmall so get there early. Read more

We took a chance not having reservations on a 90 degree Saturday early evening. The hostess Gabby greeted us so kindly and... offered two different options. We decided to remain inside and dine at the bar. Although the entire restaurant was busy as wellas Jared our bartender/server everyone on their team appeared poised and happy taking care of quests. This restaurant has ahistorical ambience and upscale feel while not being pretentious. We order some Italian wine while others enjoyed specialitycocktails and Sangria. The menu offers Italian dishes, steaks, fish and unique chef born expression. We enjoyed the Ahi TunaSalad complete w/cashews and a delicious balsamic. Our entrees included Lemon Grilled Salmon with shaved brussel sprouts andStuffed rigatoni in vodka sauce. Ever aspect of these dishes were beyond our culinary expectations. Also as the owner Mr. Yostcan be seen bar backing, restocking, running food, while being so kind to clients and his superb team. The School and Vine is amust experience. Be sure to make a reservation to ensure a seat because once you go you will be taking friends. Thank you for aspectacular Saturday...Jared, Gabby, Mr. Yost, the Chef and all the School and Vine team...100 stars! Read more

I've been here now several times and it's ok. The seating is way too close to each other. If you have loud table neighbors your... dining experience is ruined (which somehow just always happens). The food is ok. By that i mean it is definitely not bad, butsimple meh. It could use some pep. As it stands, it's just boring. Given the price you pay you might feel quite disappointed. Ohand if you're vegetarian you are kinda out of luck. Sure they can prepare something (salad or pasta). So another meh. This placehas great potential but not with the current cook, seating arrangement, and service mentality. Such a shame. Read more

This is a really cool, cozy place. The food was very good. I got the Bleu burger. It came out relatively quickly and was... fresh and good quality ingredients. The beef was fresh and everything was prepared meticulously. The fries were incredible. Allvery top notch. Prices were appropriate for the quality of the setting and the food. I had a martini and it was equally topnotch. The setting is a renovated old school. Very hip and the interior is done beautifully. Warm, casual, and vibrant with ahigh end country pub kind of vibe. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I met a couple friends for dinner here. Iwas late getting there so they ordered thier dinners before I got there. When I got there it took forever for anyone toacknowledge me and take my drink or dinner order. A couple times we actually tried to catch the attention of our server. Bothtimes she walked right by not even saying anything and she clearly saw us and heard us. My friends were almost done with thiermeal before I could order. That was a little weird and the only reason I'm taking off one star. Maybe they didn't anticipate thebusiness and ended up a little short staffed, but the staff ignoring me didn't seem like a good work around. I'll certainly goagain and I recommend it as the food and setting are a great quality experience and better than many in the area. Read more

This restaurant lived up to the hype. The food was delicious! The burger was cooked to perfection. The fish tacos were fresh and... flavorful. The steak was tender and tasty. All of the cocktails were enjoyable. The service was good and the atmosphere wascharming. I was surprised at the size of the restaurant, much smaller than I expected. I recommend making reservations. Overalla great experience. Read more
