Great food! Service was good. The chairs are hard backed and a bit uncomfortable for me. Won't stop me from going again.
Filippis is a San Diego staple and no matter what one you go to they all have the same great food and experience.

We always love to eat here. The waiters are very polite and professional while making you feel comfortable and important. This... meal we had Waiter Robby he was exceptional my mother in law's words. I had a Italian Sausage Sub while my wife had BeefRavioli's and mother in law had Spaghetti and Meatball. Everything was great as always and for the portions the price is good. Read more
Filippi's Jamul has really good pizza. The sauce is not too sweet and the crust is perfect! I liked there old location better... up the road a bit because of the ambiance but the food is the same at the newer location. I have been going to both locationsfor for years. Read more
My husband and I had driven past this restaurant on many occasions and had noticed that there were many cars parked in the... parking lot. We decided to stop here for dinner. After a long trip through Mexico, we first needed to use the restrooms whichwere clean and neat. We were seated at a nice booth and the waitress came immediately to offer us drinks. We were able to orderit immediately and were served with both regular bread and garlic bread. My husband ordered a pizza which was extremelyadvertising injury attractive and I had a veal scallopini which was a red style along with some soup a salad which was bigenough for both of us as well as the bread which was also plenty to share. The scallopini was excellent as was the minestrone.The waitress by the name of a m i e e was delightful and made the dinner a great pleasure. We had enough left over in the to-goboxes which will give us at least a dinner and a lunch in addition. We will definitely stop here again. Highly recommended. Read more
The food here never disappoints because it's delicious. I love the "all white" pizza (in pic) off the special menu, which is my... favorite, and the Hawaiian is always a favorite at home (in photo with bacon added). I'm adding a photo of a slice of thin crust'the works' which we really enjoyed with less carbs and less cheese than the traditional pizza made here. Read more
