This was my first experience with the lunch menu. I normally have breakfast. It had quite a variety of choices. I chose a baked... potato item. It was way over cooked as it had shriveled up and turned crusty. It was like it has been in a warmer forhours... The pizza fries, though the looked delicious, were soggy and very unappealing to the taste. I will go back...as themenu had some interesting items....but I will stay away from the fries and baked potato. Read more

This is a terrific example of the Virginia way of doing the mom and pop family diner. A little bit older building, but we like a... little older style anyway. None of the newfangled hype you expect in certain places. A good menu, and a pretty cool waitress. The food came quickly and wow, was it ever good! This is why I like the family run places! If we're in this part of town again, will definitely think about coming back here! Two thumbs up. Read more

This restaurant is worth a trip off the interstate. You will not find better food at a better price. The restaurant is decorated... with a modern folk art flavor. Brightly colored walls with original artwork make for a fun atmosphere. The sweet tea is a stoutbrew served up in true southern style with plenty of ice. The homemade dressings paired with fresh local produce will bring meback for more. Read more

Update! Been here several more times and love the salads and atmosphere! This is the BEST place for a vegan / vegetarian to eat... in the area period! Vegi Options! The waitress and entire staff were excellent, extremely friendly and made us not only feelcomfortable and provided great food, service and great portions! Will definitely be back here in the future! The order of friesbelow is a small, the large must be family sized! Read more

After hours of driving, exploring our beautiful state with my husband. We decided to stop off at Jane Lew exit for gas. There I... decided it was well past time for food and we should eat before hitting the road again. With a quick Google search I found thisadorable family restaurant. With having good reviews I decided to give it a try. It seemed to be a busy Sunday afternoon withmany cars in the parking lot. We were greeted warmly and pick our cozy booth. After skipping breakfast we were both prettyhungry and ended up trying multiple items from the lunch and dinner menu, at least half of which we ended up taking home. Theplace was decorated nicely, fast and pleasant service, food was absolutely delicious. They promise homemade with reasonableprices and they did not disappoint. This is a lovely family owned, family oriented restaurant. I am so glad we got to stop andtry it out. If you are in the area I highly recommend. Read more

Simply amazing! We had the brown sugar bacon jalapeno burger, the fresh homemade onion rings, the authentic Italian hoagie, and... the fresh cut french fries. We also had the French onion soup and it was out of the world. Read more
