Outstanding dinner and cocktails. Between the five of us, we ordered more than half of the menu - everything just kept getting... better and better. I tend to order the Prix fixe every time in order to try new things. Love how the menu evolves. You need toget here. This place should be packed every night with how good the food and drinks are. Lark We were fortunate to find this enjoyable restaurant in Janesville. We are so glad we did. Expecting an average meal we were... so pleasantly surprised to get a great dinner. We had some great appetizers one consisted of carrots with a creamy bbq sauce andone with pork belly. We had the pork chop which was one of if not the best pork chop I’ve ever had. Truly awesome. we visited this fun restaurant from out of state. They served Excellent creative food and cocktails! Had a great steak and loved... the hot chicken with its crispy tasty skin and perfectly cooked meat. The macaroni and cheese with Fried chicken was a decadenttreat! Also enjoyed the spring rolls, Brussels sprouts and romaine salad small plates. Service was attentive and both food anddrinks were reasonably priced. Super cute building and friendly servers, but the meals were tiny and expensive (and unfortunately not that great.) We ordered... crab cakes (a special that I was told could be a large plate), and risotto. The crab cakes were good but there wasn’t nearlyenough food to be a full entree (I was starving when we left), and the risotto was NOT risotto (it was soup with over-cookedrice floating in it, it was extremely salty, and the chicken tasted spongy.) Good drinks, mostly great food, but with a couple misses. Some of the meat was severely undercooked and some overcooked. Not... consistent enough to justify the price. Still an enjoyable visit overall if you happen to order the right thing... stay awayfrom any larger cuts of meat or anything you can order the temperature of - like a steak - because they'll just screw it up evenif they're not busy.
