Great spot, wonderful food with reasonable prices. We have eaten on two occasions, New Year's eve and another just a stop , both... while traveling to/from SD. Handy on/off I90. Many decent motels nearby. Best thing is the food is great and service wasexemplary. Even on New Year's, without a reservation, we were seated in 40 minutes. Although upon entering the restaurant we had waited a moment not knowing if we should seat ourselves. The atmosphere is quiet,... would be a great romantic outing restaurant. The food is phenomenal. Glass of wine is a tad small for the price but wellbalanced with food portions. If an item says diced tomatoes, just know it has onions! Read more
My daughter claims they have the best salmon ever! Service was good, bathrooms are nice. Food was delicious BUT.. I had a steak... salad and they grilled the onions; it just didn't really do it for me. Would be better raw on a salad in my opinion. Bread andcheese curds were delicious. The sugar rim on the blood orange margarita ???? was disappointing, but taste was good. The brandyOld fashion sweet was on point. Fantastic. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but cozy and a little classy inside. Delicious drink specials and the shrimp... appetizer is heaven. (And dessert!) Update: Morning brunch service is Not impressive. One plate wasn't good at all, and we wereNot checked on once until we were done and even then had to wait for our check and Then she asked without even asking about theuntouched plate!! Great menu with a variety of Wisconsin favorites as well as traditional American grill and pub fare. Had perch which was... excellent. Their cheese curds were done to perfection. Fried nicely but still squeaky on the inside. There's an art to doingcheese curds correctly and they did a GREAT job with them. Decent selection of wine and beer, including beer on tap, includinglocal options. Wait staff were very friendly despite the fact we cut it close to closing time. Recommend sitting on the patioif you can. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible restaurant and patio. Would definitely recommend Milwaukee Grill ifyou are in Janesville and looking for a local place with some local favorites on the menu. Read more
Excellent entrees, prepared perfectly. All good was served at the right temperatures, plenty of flavor, plated nicely &... generous portions. Nice atmosphere, wait staff was very good!
