The food was excellent. I had the venison wrapped in wild bore bacon with chanterelles. Im a big fan of chanterelles and the... creamy mushroom sauce was by far the best I've ever had. Probably been one of my favorite meals ever! Highly recommend. The restof our group had the bison short ribs which were also excellent. All meat was cooked perfect. For appetizers we had the breadand herbed butter, the elk carpaccio, and bacon wrapped scallops. They were all fantastic. Next trip to Jasper I'll definitelybe going back! Fine dining in a cozy family setting. Father (owner) and daughter served us with efficient ease. The short ribs were very tasty.... The serving were large - would have been happy with a half portion of the pasta. Read more

If you?re looking for some finer dining in Jasper, Tekarra is it! Every dish we had was incredible and I love that it is family... run! You must try the supreme crepe, it was my favourite! Love that is is also on a beautiful property. Read more

Really dissapointed...probably the worst restaurant experience I've had in Jasper. I ordered smoked salmon sushi. I understand... that it's under the small plate call him but honestly what you get is nowhere near worth the price of $17+tx+resort fee. you get6 medallions about one centimetre thick each. All in all when you put them together it's about 1/2 to 3/4 the size of yourtypical hand roll and 80% of it is either rice or the deep fried panko crumb. The flavour was also nothing to write home aboutand came purely from the spicy mayo and a brown sauce that was drizzled on top. I would probably never order something likethis again especially as it was nothing different from a grocery store hand roll that I could probably get at about half theprice. The restaurant advertises itself in various Jasper magazines as a foodie Paradise what I was served today hardly fits thedescription. Read more
Not sure why the restaurant didn?t take this entertainment book coupon and it was kinda of embarrassing that it was our first... time that one vendor doesn?t take the coupon from entertainment book. I mean if you don?t want to give out the discount whyadvertise yourself in the entertainment book? We got the App from entertainment book and we showed them and they refused togive out the discount saying never seen it before and they don?t even have a code for it...Food was very delicious and highquality and service was good too. Walked with my husband for breakfast at 840a this morning. Was told that by the hostess there would be a wait for food as they... are short staffed. We said no problem we can wait. 1 hr and 10 min later with no breakfast and most of the tables empty, Iasked the waitress when do they expect to serve our meal. I was told there were still three tables ahead of us. I have neverbeen in a restaurant and waited an hour for breakfast, let alone to be told that it?s still nowhere in sight. I don?t care howgood the food may be, it?s not worth waiting for. If a restaurant does not have enouht staff, they should not open. It?s asimple as that! A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! Read more
