This place has great potential however my visit was not what I expected from a place like this. 9:20 p.m. we arrived. The people... working there definitely avoided the front and left me there waiting. The bartender saw us up there and thankfully she helped usout. She acted as if another server was coming to take care of us and in the end. I guess no one wanted to take care of usbecause she did. Our server was fantastic. Very much a gem to this location. She was prompt and very personable during ourvisit. The food was atrocious for the most part. We had the ultimate sampler, the firecracker stix tasted like chemicals. I'mnot sure what was wrong with them aside from the oil being older then sin, and I tasted none of the meats listed in the menu forit. The taste was quite offensive. The fried green tomatoes were actually good tasting and I would definitely try them again. Ican't properly judge the cheese fries because they were missing half the ingredients. The rolls were hard as a rock and tastedlike paper. My main meal was the Daddy Mac double stack. The description had me excited to try this burger. Once again there wasa strong chemical taste from the food. The ingredients were not properly distributed so some bites had nothing in them and otherbites had too much. No care or consideration was put into making this burger I was very disappointed. Tater tots tasted staleand reheated. I would come back to this place but only for the chicken tenders and only if we got the same server! Thisdefinitely won't be a restaurant I would ever recommend. I don't leave too many bad reviews but this place took the cake onit. Update: I followed up with them and as I expected they didn't really care to speak with me. Never returned my messege. Theyjust post a generic response to look as they actually care about thier restaurant. Read more
Wow what a great place to eat. Very large the service is great and the food is excellent highly recommend.
How have I never come across this place before. The food is amazing. Portions are eye popping. The full bar, is on point and our... tender took excellent care of our beverages. Cozy place and was not busy on a Saturday lunch time. Read more
The Calabash chicken tenders are delicious. Cheese grits are a must. The Mac ?n Cheese is nope. I wish there more Fatz Cafes in... Georgia. I enjoyed them immensely when I went to college in South Carolina. Read more
We had a large group and our waitress was very pleasant and well-organized. We appreciated her patience. The food was good,... though not all of it came out hot. But when with a large group, I guess that?s to be expected. Amazing tater tots; nice andcrispy. I had the chicken wrap and got it Buffalo style and it was average, with a nice soft wrap; perfectly acceptable. Afriend ordered the fish plate and got a very generous serving. The stacked burger looked and tasted amazing. Another at ourtable really enjoyed the Chicken Cesar Salad. Good parking around the area. Read more
We ate their Monday 3/21/22 for lunch. Getting a table seemed like a hard task for them. It was not busy and no one wanted to... work it seemed. Food took a while to come out. We had a chicken sandwich and hamburger with fries. Chicken sandwich was good.Maybe a little well done but tasted good. The hamburger steak was ordered med-well and come out extra well. Fries were luke warmon my plate. Sent the plate back and it was a little better enough to eat and get out of there. The cook that day needs to finda new line of work. This is my second time coming here and it is likely to become a favorite. Hostesses and wait staff were friendly and the food... was great! I loved that we're brought those little hot rolls with the cinnamon sugar butter. For dinner I ordered the theBrisket Stuffed Double Stack minus cheese and was not disappointed one bit! The only minor negative was that the service, whilefriendly, was a little bit slow on the refill side during the first part of my meal. But hey... things happen and I know so manyplaces are short staffed, so y'all still get 5 stars EDIT: They removed this burger recently and the other things I've triedsince, simply aren't as good. ???? This place was disgusting. When we came in to be seated the host was very rude while also wearing wearing black flip flops and... socks and a random black oversized black sweatshirt, no uniform. Very unprofessional. When we were seated it wasn't shortlyuntil we got our drinks but our server looked very unpolished and TBH, crusty. We finally ordered an appetizer and our drinks,our drinks came shortly and our cheese fries came 25 minutes after we ordered them. Our server then had on a very old dirty armygreen coat and seem very unprofessional and made some weird remarks about not knowing if it was morning or night. We alsonoticed another server with flip flops and socks . The food was not was not good, barely edible and below fast food quality. Ipaid $11 for 3.5 chicken fingers and what seemed to be 11 fries. Horrible quality. Once we were finally done it took more than25 minutes to get our check after we hunted someone down to get our bill and paid. I came here 4 years ago with a girlfriend andordered a salad and it was horrible. But I figured maybe it was a one off and we decided to come back again. This was a horriblemistake.
