Absolutely wonderful! Came here for the first time and our waiter, John, was a sweetheart and very attentive. All the staff was... kind. I got the lamb gyro and it was perfect. Some friends and I came in from out of town for the weekend and came for dinner. I have very rarely felt so tended to at... restaurant than I did here. It was a wonderful dining experience. To start, the tap list looked so thoughtfully chosen. Iselected a Belgian quad, which was brought to me in the appropriate glassware. For a craft beer enthusiast, I always notice theglassware. The beer was wonderful. Our server Gabe was phenomenal at helping me choose the pork tenderloin which was juicy andseasoned to perfection and topped with an interesting and well balanced sauce. The Ole Mulehouse in Jasper was such a pleasant surprise!! Drove by it not knowing it was there and decided to stop and check it... out. This location is very spacious and HUGE, lots of tables. Their menu items are limited but it's that's OK because the foodthey do make is delicious and beautiful looking. Their server was so nice and friendly, it added to the atmosphere. Picturedhere is their PECAN CRUSTED TROUT and their SPIRAL HAM. I've always loved deviled eggs so that had to be my appetizer. Theirdesserts are pretty tasty as well with their CARROT CAKE CHEESECAKE becoming an instant favorite but their WHITE CHOCOLATE BREADPUDDING... I think I shed a tear when I took the last bite ???????? Who would have known Jasper put of all places (good BBQspots) would have this little gem in their downtown area!? I moved to Jasper several months ago and I am saddened that tonight was my first time coming here! Absolutely FANTASTIC! The... atmosphere is fun and vibrant, but not too loud either. Hostesses and wait staff were attentive and on top of things. Thefood.... the food was amazing! I had the Pork Belly Sandwich and substituted ginger carrots for the fries and ended withbaklava. I have passed this place several times and the outside deck always seemed inviting. It was all I hoped for in a dining... location. Nice area with a local musical playing solo guitar. The food was great too. Pork snitzel German potato salad andred cabbage was the special for the night. Closed out with pumpkin cheesecake. Will come back to try other items. Read more
