My husband and I went here after work today, the service was a little slow at first, but the food was prompt, and delicious. The... cocktails were really good, the wings were decent (I like my bone-in wings a bit drier, my preference though). The dessert applepizza hit the spot, and so did the gourmet carrot cake (by far one of the best carrot cakes I've ever had). Before I left thestaff made riblets, and offered me a piece (next time I go here I'll be ordering those). Enjoyed the trivia night out on the patio. Plain cheesecake was wonderful!! My favorite food was the fried mushrooms appetizer.... They were sliced portobello mushrooms strips instead of the traditional entire mushroom. I would avoid the pizza. Read more
The food was decent. But, why am I not allowed to substitute bacon for peanut butter on the Hot Barbie burger; I HAVE to get... the PB&J burger? What if it was against my religion to have bacon and request peanut butter on the side instead? Is it reallythat hard to stick peanut butter on a burger? Visiting jasper for a few days from out of town for my birthday. Decided to stop in here for dinner. Since we had never been... here before, we had to take a few minutes to find parking (which was pretty easy to find a parking spot). My husband had the allAmerican burger with a side salad. I had 5 boneless wings with a sweet honey heat sauce on them with ranch as a dipping sauce.For dessert I opted for the reese peanut butter thunder cake (for my birthday). I also had a draft beer and my husband had along Island ice tea. All food was delicious!! My husband said that was one of the best burgers he has had. It came with bacon,lettuce, onion, pickle, and tomato. The side salad was a simple salad with romaine, shredded cheese and diced tomato. Thewaitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Friendly staff waiting to greet us! Seated quickly and server arrived promptly, also very friendly and happy to serve us! ... Appetizers and main meals served at appropriate intervals. Drinks refreshed routinely without delay. Excellent food qualityand flavor! Highly recommend!!! Breadsticks toasty on the outside and soft on the inside, best hamburger in town grilled toperfection (devoured before I could snap a pic), Cobb salad fresh and full of flavor! The wings??? Best I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, delicious dry rub, juicy and tender inside. Sorry, no room for dessert but the cheesecake variationslooked absolutely divine! Absolutely wonderful service, environment, and food! Our waitress was very friendly, caring, and attentive. Pulled Pork and... Smoked Chicken Taco meals were both on point. Serving sizes were great, and the beer was fresh and cold. As an out-of-towner, Ihighly reccomend! Read more
This was our first time eating here. The food was awesome. They have a variety of choices on their menu from appetizers to... burgers, pulled pork or chicken, wings, pizza, and more. I had the Steakhouse Burger and bacon cheesy potatoes. My Mom had thepulled pork sandwich and onion rings. They were all great! It's about an hour drive for us, but we'll be back. I need to try TheBig Bob burger. If you're in Jasper, IN or nearby, this place is definitely worth a visit. Read more
Even right at lunch time we were able get right in and seated. Service was great and food portions were great. Wife had a vegy... pizza plus cheesy bread while I enjoyed their pulled pork sandwich (dry and added their homemade sweet sauce at the table) and aside of in-house onion rings. Sandwich was their lunch portion but in my travels it's probably the largest mound of pulled porkI've ever seen piled upon a sandwich bun. Read more
