Sushi was barely edible, the hibachi was ok. Guess the sushi chef worked at a snow cone place before because they were giant... balls of rice that didn't stay together. The fish itself was so big I had to cut it into 3rds and was far from fresh. While theservice was nice, that is not anything close to decent sushi. Read more

Between my husband and I, we have 30 years food service experience, so it was wonderful to find such a knowledgeable server,... this really sets the stage for a first time experience.( not from this area) I wanted the fried talapia w garlic mashedpotatoes, but bc of a food alergy, I asked to substitute mashed potatoes for french fries(cant eat dairy). The server, Janelle, was exceptionally knowledgeable and said due to the fat content of the fish, fried potatoes (ff) would not compliment thetilapia, and suggested a Swai fish sandwich that was comparable in price, and would pair better. I tried it and she was right,it was fantastic. Prices were reasonable 12.95 for each of us, 2.50 for tea. A most lovely evening. Again, Janelle had theknowledge, professionalism, and experience helping make our night a success. The food was very good and restaurant lookedclean. Music a tad too loud for quiet dinner conversation, but other than that, really good food. Read more

The bathroom smelled like the sewer it is hopefully attached to and that's always a good sign to run but my daughter was eager... to dine there so off to the appetizer!! Have you ever had a really good crab cake? Treasure that memory because you won'there. If a crab would crawl across a Twinkie and defecate it would probably taste better. My daughter's crab legs were quitegood but for 45 dollars a tool to crack them would've been nice instead of her fingers, teeth and one napkin she was provided. I chose the jumbo shrimp boil. The sausage was the best part of the mix after the chewy umbilical ends were separated from theorgan. The corn was tasteless so I asked for salt and pepper to spice up what i suspected was field corn which was delivered inteeny packets but with lack of napkins, it was a sodden mess. When I finally waved the waitress down for the check she askedif I wanted a to go box but I like my pets too much to insult them with that mess. That's a hundred dollar mistake I'll notmake again. My cousin and I ate here on July 31st for dinner. Suddenly they were slammed with customers. Our waitress, appeared to be the... only waitress on the floor at first. Nevertheless, she gave 200% to make our visit the best! If Ohana loses Brit to anotherresturant shame on you. This gal needs an award and an raise!! Thank you, Brit for making our evening enjoyable. I liked this place much better before the renovation. I'm not a fan of how chic and flashy the interior is now, but that's me.... Drinks tasted off, almost flat. Food was very blah. Sushi was awful, tasted a bit dried out and the amount of sauce was aboutthe size of my pinky nail. I wouldn't recommend. Though I want to say, the staff was kind and friendly, even while they wereshort-handed they were great. Read more

Very surprising for the little town of Jasper. Ethnic food at a reasonable price and good quality. The calamari was the best... I've had in many years. Read more
