My son is allergic to milk. I went in for a milkshake for myself and was surprised to see that there were a couple dairy free... options and wound up getting him a scoop. I did tell them about the milk allergy and made sure to ask that the dairy free waskept fully separate from the regular flavors, different scoops/equipment and all, was told yes. My son wound up with ananaphylactic reaction and had to get an EpiPen and go to the ER. We know there's a risk of cross contamination any time we eatout and that the responsibility ultimately lies with us, and the staff was very kind when we called from the ER to get theingredient list, but I'm just leaving this review in case any other parents of milk allergic kids are wondering if this is asafe option (it was not in our case). I would give 10 stars if it we're an option.This place is the JEWEL of Jasper.. The younger staff are motivated ,kind,and... courteous! If you like ice cream well it's top notch,if you want a smoothie well then we're talking out of this world!!. BTW trythe peach smoothie. You won't be disappointed. I promise. Read more
Visiting jasper from out of town for my birthday. My husband and I stopped in here for some ice cream on a wed afternoon. He got... the double oreo with chocolate syrup and I got the rocky road with chocolate syrup. Soooo delicious!!! The staff was patient andfriendly with us, and it was reasonably priced. On a Thursday morning we stopped in for some coffee. My husband had a hot matchalatte and I had the house coffee. Both were very good and also reasonably priced. Read more

Wow. I don't know what I was expecting when I walked into this tiny, almost easy to miss ice cream shop. But it wasn't ice... cream that knocked my socks off. Unique flavors with stand out names, every flavor I had the pleasure of trying was fantastic.There were three of us in our party. Two of us got ice cream, and one a shake. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say aboutZax, with the exception that it isn't closer to home. A must if you are craving some ice cream (or coffee- they also have alarge coffee menu!). Read more
