I finally made it to the Nest for my 50th Birthday and my experience was awesome. Our waitress, Angela was friendly,... professional and efficient! The food was GREAT!! I had the Seafood trio that had scallops, lobster and shrimp and it was cookedto perfection. The portion sizes were perfect. I totally recommend this place, you will NOT be disappointed!! DONT DO IT!!! Please be advised. You must avoid this place like the plague! Went there last night for dinner. Ordered a bowl of... seafood bisque, filet, shrimp cocktail, mussels, and a seafood mix of lobster, scallops, and shrimp. I think! Let me start withthe bisque. It was hard to tell the difference between the shrim and lumps of flour. The filet had no taste. I mean none. I hadto de-vein a butterflied shrimp. You could have sewed the mussels together to make a pair of shoes ( my guess is previouslyfrozen). The seafood mix was a mix of honestly I couldn?t tell anything apart. I believe it was just all boiled together andthrown over some mushy rice. Now, here?s the kicker! There was never a food check by the waitress or anyone for that matter. Thegirl refilling water was walking around with ear buds in. When I had brought up the problems to the waitress she said ? I haveto get someone else, I?m not having a good day and can?t deal with this?! She came back with what I believe was an owner. Ibelieve this because he disagreed with me completely on how horrible the meal was. In fact he took my meal and grabbed a pieceof shrimp took a bite of it in front of me and told me it tasted great! Yes he did that! He than took the steak in the back ateit came back and agreed it was bad. Blamed the cut not the cook. He said what he was going to remove from the bill and stillcharged for some things. I would have brought this up to him but he was literally so mad he was shaking while arguing about themeal while holding the dish. I had to call him out on it politely of course. Even though I grew up in the area this was the first time I've ever been to The Nest. I think my parents always saved it for... themselves, leaving us kids at home. Now I know why. Spectacular staff. I had the cucumber spritzer which was delicious. Verygood appetizers and the cocktail sauce was spicy in a good way. Everything was fabulous, lobster was tender, shrimps were bigand juicy, and the scallops were delicate and melt in your mouth. Read more

You can NOT get better seafood in this area than this! Actually anything you get at The Nest is amazing! Their steak melts in... your mouth. Everything is absolutely cooked to perfection! The shrimp are so big two people have to eat the shrimp cocktail andthey are scrumptious. Best lobster I've ever had and I have had lobster at many beaches claiming to have the freshest & bestmojitos we've ever had. Lets not forget the desert tray. Seafood fare is fresh and exquisite. Ample options to satisfy the pallet. Had I been in love with seafood, this would be 5... stars. However, I prefer turf and that means bovine as the top choice. The quality is on par for the price but the preparationwas not. Friendly and accommodating staff as well as clean. Great spirit selection. Read more
