Chicken is decent, parts were overcooked. While we made the order days in advance for pickup at 12:30 pm, we still waited in the... store for 30 minutes. Not very cool when when you have people waiting for you and all the food is ready. If you can't handleyour reservations, take less. This also seemed to be of very little concern of the staff. I tried switching out chicken, they did not allow me to switch out a thigh for a leg. Order potato salad and mashed potatoes.... Told them no gravy on mashed potatoes. Got home to find out they didn't give me my potato salad, they put gravy on my mashedpotatoes. Tried eating the mashed potatoes by taking off the gravy. They were extremely sour. Me and my Step Father both gotsick from the mashed potatoes. Dad had to call out of work the next day. My mother had to stop eating her meal. The chickentenders were horrible. Chicken is good but I ate it in 2 bites practically. They are tiny pieces. They are expensive too. If Icould give this place 0 stars I would. So unbelievable. Couldn't eat the rest of the night because I felt so sick. So I starvedwhile being on the toilet non stop. Read more
Great fried chicken and sides. We got an 8 piece chicken meal that came with 2 sides. Mashed potatoes & gray & mac'n'cheese. It... was all tasty. And their corn bread is yummy! Will be back! Read more

We?ve enjoyed Watsons chicken for many years and although this may not be THE original the chicken recipe sure is. We always get... the green beans as a side because they remind us of our country holidays. We tried the mashed potatoes this time and they weregood. We are picky about cole slaw and are not a fan of theirs. They do not make the rolls or corn bread in house and we do notlike them otherwise it would be 5 stars. Their fried chicken is really good, so is their fried chicken tenders although tenders may be store bought, homemade mashed... potatoes and gravy, and peanut butter pie. The peanut butter pie was very creamy but just too sweet for one person to finish. The owners are very friendly but they have a cashier that seems to have an attitude and it can dampen the entire experience. They are not prepared to handle more than one customer at a time so it is best to call ahead and place your order. They do haveseveral tables in the store and several tables outside. All meals are served in styrofoam containers. It is what itadvertises, "carry-out" and rated accordingly. Call ahead to order your good food, come in, purchase and walk out with it. Read more
This is not the Watsons I remember when they were located in Frederick. The chicken tastes like it's been cooked in old grease.... The outside was not appetizing and the aroma was not appealing. The inside was done though.Had to return without an option ofgetting my money back or an exchange other than chicken. Didn't eat, threw away.Friendly people though. Just a greasy spoontrying to make it, I guess. I like Giant eagle and Weis chicken better. I'd even eat Roy's first and their my last choice. Read more
