If you find yourselves in this town and not sure what your dining options are, this joint is your best bet. We were there just... after lunch time on a Tuesday and the place was not busy but about a quarter full. We were quickly seated and our order wastaken once we're ready. The waiter was very friendly. We have some diet restrictions and asked for omissions and replacements ofingredients and he had great attitude about it. The free chips and salsa are great. I had a lunch special beef fajitas and itwas very good. My wife had a shrimp dish (I don't remember the name) and it too was good. The price was what you would expect ata decent Tex Mex restaurant in Texas. No complaint here. Overall, a very good experience. Read more

Hard to get a decent hot meal over the road. Any time I come thru here I?ll definitely be stopping.
It turns out to be one of my favorite "go-to" spots to eat since moving locally. So far all the meals I have tried ate amazing... and prices are great. Mango margaritas are very tasty and relaxing, fajita beans I choose over the refried beans, they just seemto be tastier, I noticed more people asking for the fajita beans. One of my favorites is the avacado enchiladas with chickenfajita meat topping it. Read more
We were on a road trip and it was pretty late at night. We were desperate to not have fast food - Don Juan?s was the only place... we could find that was open and we were wary ? but our fears were allayed quickly. The staff was friendly, the food wasfantastic - it came out pretty quickly and if we are ever driving through Jefferson, TX again we will stop! Read more
We swung by for a day trip and ordered the Chicken Enchilada Plate and Tamales Plate. The food was really good and the service... was good too. The employees, waiter and cashier, were very nice and friendly. Read more
I ate all my food it was delicious except the cheese on the nachos was not melted and had more of a glue consistency. I enjoyed... my time here the food came fairly quick and our server attended all our needs and wants. The price was right for the cosmos.
