This place was spot on! The food was fantastic and the drinks where amazing! The cistern room was really neat and makes for a... unique dining experience. Will definitely visit again. We did order the stuffed mushroom appetizer and they were veryflavorful; however the cheese may not be right for it and it wasn?t melted all the way. I?m not saying don?t get them, evenwithout cheese they where good, this was mainly for the staff if they see this about the cheese. Cheers! Read more
We enjoyed our dinner, but some of the dishes could be improved. The spinach salad is very refreshing, perfect to start the... meal. However, the deep-fried onion had a harsh, raw taste, only partially offset by the accompanying sauce. The smoked scampipotato was a bit dry but delicious if you squeezed some lemon on top. A proper lemon sauce could bring this dish to a whole newlevel. On the positive side, there's a massive beer, wine and cocktail menu. And the building, a restored historic hotel, isbeautiful. Carrie the bartender was beyond superb!!! She was attentive and engaged with us, answering our questions and giving... recommendations and even made us a drink that wasn?t on the menu. The food was delicious and the drinks on point! The shrimp wasdownright scrumptious. The Spicy Mexican drink punched just the right amount of heat, adding flavor to give it that subtle wowfactor. Wow! What an amazing place... The food was excellent and the staff were awesome. We had a great time sitting at the bar shooting... the breeze with Katt and Zack. It is rare to find such an extensive beer list in this area and I never thought that I would findDelirium in Jefferson Texas. Arrived on a sunny Sunday afternoon, only one other table in there, yet the service was a little slow, otherwise I would give... this restaurant 5 stars. We were greeted and seated immediately and given the ample drink menu. We enjoyed the nicely preparedcocktails. My niece's fish was stylishly presented in a cone shaped holder, but she had to ask for a plate to put her ketchup onto dip her fries. Very good, she said! My bourbon bacon burger was good, although I was surprised that I was not asked how Iwanted it cooked. It came with more tator tots than I needed, i should have asked if I could substitute a salad. Their food was exquisite. The Chef's Charcuterie Board has some of the best goat cheeses and other cheeses. Service was... great. Update: Ate there a month later, and they had a few kitchen and waiting challenges that made it not quite as great asexperience as the first time, but it was okay. Read more
This is a very interesting find. There is a well that has been made into a glass top table. The food was absolutely... delicious!!! We had the special, hamburger steak and stuffed chicken rolls. Can't remember the specific name. So much food....we had to get a to go box. The place is beautiful.!!! Read more
