I'm sorry to say that since it's been a week ago I don't remember our waitresses name, I believe it was either Shelly or Kelly.... She was absolutely wonderful. Even when she started to get busy, she didn't forget about us, kept checking on us, kept checkingon my coffee refills, just did a great job! Good cheap food, but the service excelled. Our waitress Lexi never let the drinks get more than half empty, she was attentive... and hilarious. She even went next door and bought us a chocolate bar after we joked about it. Best waitress I've ever had. Read more
I get my lunch from here almost every shift. The servers are so nice and the food is really good! My favourite things to get are... the Oreo pancake platter and the burger meals. Angel and Lexi are the best servers ever! Read more
Place is an absolute joke. I ordered it pretty basic. Couple eggs a rib-eye steak and hash browns. I waited close to 40 minutes... and then politely asked the server when I could expect my food. Seems they process all the take-out order first. When sheapproached the lady at the grill who so happened to be the manager as well and ask her how long my food would take she startedmouthing off and I overheard her. I ended up paying for the steak and asking the server to donate it to a homeless person. Notworth the stop here folks. Move right on down the road there's plenty of other options just down the road in Marshall. Greayt food and feels like home! Yall... this place is the best food. I suggest coming at evening shift..Server Haylee is... AMAZING and we wish there were more like her! This girl deserves a raise! I'm visiting Jefferson with some friends. We decided to try Huddle House for breakfast. I've stopped at huddle House's that are... attached to truck stops on previous travels and have enjoyed my experiences but this was not a good experience. When we arrivedit was very busy, but I believe at the end of their rush has it cleared out pretty quickly. There were originally two serversand I think they went down to only one. They definitely could have used more staff. Our server walked away when we said we wereready to order and then came back later to take the order. They got one thing incorrect which should have been an easy solution.Then they charge me for a side item of the correction to the order instead of just correcting the order. Somebody from thekitchen, I'm assuming the manager on duty came and argued with me about what I ordered instead of just correcting the situation.It was very frustrating as I have never had a manager come and tell me that I ordered something I didn't order when their servermade a mistake. I've waited tables for several years of my life and making mistakes happens. It's not a big deal. The fact thatit was made into a big deal was the problem here. The food tasted mediocre at best. I wouldn't expect anything to "wow" yourpalate but it's food and you leave satiated. Good luck on getting a refill on your drink because that didn't happen and wasn'teven offered. When I asked for more I was told I was going to get it and it never came. This is definitely one of the moredisappointing eating out experiences that I have had and I have had hundreds of experiences eating out. I do not recommend thisplace. At least not this location.
