Bonton has the best donuts! I can never just buy one - which is fine, because they aren't overpriced. I used to work at Kwik... Trip and it made me so sad to see folks buying baked goods there (which are not only gross, but made in a factory in Lacrosseand freezed) when you can go just across town and support this small business that's been there for literally over a hundredyears and has cute old ladies making stuff and the food is actually delicious. They are amazing at what they do
They made me cupcakes for my wedding (I believe about 130 cupcakes). I showed them a reference picture (I?ll put it below) but... the cupcakes didn?t really look like the reference picture. No biggie, it?s difficult to make flowers I know. But the packagingwas disappointing, there were no cupcake holders in the boxes so the cupcakes were loose & one box was rough, it was smallerthan the rest and covered in tape, so a decent amount got ruined before even arriving to the venue?they stated they wereunderstaffed and I understand that but we paid $240 for cupcakes?just disappointing is all. This was the first time I stopped at the Bon Ton Bakery. After looking over the huge selection, I settled for a Cinnamon Raisin... Roll. I asked the lady helping me if she could warm it up for me. She said absolutely! I sat down to eat it and OH MY GOD, Itwas AMAZING! Melted in my mouth. It was Fresh and had pleanty of cinnamon, raisins and glazing! If I wasn't in a hurry, I wouldof had 2 more. I will definately be back when I'm in town. Read more
