Excellent food if you aren't in a big hurry. Professional staff and clean interesting antiques to admire~food has been best we... have had in this area. Service was 3 star but food was 4 star. I was greeted almost right away and sat at a table. The waitress asked what to drink... and I told her. She brought it and she would give me a few minutes to decide my order. What was supposed to be a few minutes wasactually a 10 minute wait. She walked past me often but did eventually stop and take my order. At 5:10 I placed my order andasked for a refill. 12 minutes later and she still did not bring me a refill. Finally 12 minutes later I asked her to changetable because it was getting cold where I was and looked at her straight in the eyes. That was the 3rd time. This time shebrought it. She brought the food 20 minutes later. I'm glad the grilled chicken was cooked and soft. The little BBQ was good.The coleslaw was ok but needed some salt but otherwise good. The baked potato was well cooked and not overcooked. The sweet teawas pretty good. Overall the food was good. But the service was mediocre and could be improved. Oh wow! Just as I'm finishingeating the waitress comes to fill my glass without my asking her too. Must not have liked the intensity of my stare. Read more

Great find! Was in Jefferson City for work and wanted a bite to eat before heading back to Johnson City and came across this... restaurant. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious and extremely affordable! Had the prime rib and it was great. Alsowent back the following week and tried breakfast which was also great! Wish it was closer, I'd be there weekly! Read more
The menu is great. Very good selection of country food. However, it may have just been a bad day for them when I was there. ... The catfish was way over cooked, none of the food seemed to have any flavoring (at least no salt), and our poor waitress messedup the drinks, our orders, and we got a piece of Creamcicle cake to go. The cake was added back to the original receipt we hadalready paid for. We mentioned that to our waitress and she said oh yeah that's right. So we owed $4.99 for the piece of cake. I had already tipped over 15%. We handed her a $10 for the cake and she said have a nice day. She was a very very sweetinnocent young lady but just wasn't focused at least that day. Read more
I have been here several times and have not had a bad experience with service or food yet. All the staff has always been... attentive and kind. I've tried several different food items from appetizers to desserts and everything in between and it's allbeen great. I have not tried their breakfast items yet, but I'm sure they're great, too. The prices are also very affordable andreasonable. Read more
