Very delicious cuban sandwich. Had it a second time. Crispy bread on the outside, garlic roasted pork with pickle, swiss cheese... and a slice of ham inside make it quite tasty. The meat could have been hotter. The black beans were not cooked long enough asthey were not partially dissolving. The sweet potatoes or yam? were too sweet for my taste. Overall a good eat. Ordered via Uber Eats. Food was an hour late and cold (no fault of the driver). Flavor was subpar? Chicharrón and beans had... zero seasoning. I thought that Sazon and sofrito were a given in a Hispanic kitchen. I didn?t try my wife?s food but she wasnot impressed either. To top it off they forgot my extra side of beans that I paid for. I was told to remind them the nexttime I order. ???? Sidenote: Unfortunately, I got confused with the Uber Eats app and ended up tipping the restaurant 20%instead of the driver. When I realized my error I then tipped the driver 15%. The whole order ended up costing me over $70 fora wack @ss meal. To my knowledge, this is the only ?Latin? restaurant in the area. Delicious food, service can be a bit slow and I don?t get why we get to go containers when we were eating in? Had their... empanadas/pastelitos before and they were great, but this time they were not it, they were made of some weird yellow cheese, Ihad them with mozzarella before and they were great. Food was absolutely delicious and delivered within a decent time though I expected it sooner given that I don?t live that far.... The cuban sandwich was really awesome though some parts were soggy because it was drenched in the green sauce (maybe recaito?)which was very greasy. The pernil with my mofongo was pretty good but the plantains were very hard and dry. My husband?sfavorite thing was the yuca fries. All in all, I think we?ll give them another try. Read more
I?ve been coming to Izla since I was about 15 years old? I am currently 19 and have never had such an awful experience in this... restaurant. This place used to be upbeat, clean, and the food was tasty. The place yesterday was filthy, pictures added showthat they don?t clean their bathroom. I was very disgusted and can only imagine how everything else is upkept. Coming fromsomeone who works in food service, you don?t serve customers on paper plates with plastic utensils on a kids tray. Nothospitable, but the staff isn?t bad. Food doesn?t taste the same at all. I really would recommend going to a authentic PuertoRican spot instead of here folks. Read more
Great value lunch menu. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is tasty.
We were recommended coming here. Did not realize they close at 8pm. We got there at 718pm. 3 people in store not one person... looked up to say hello or acknowledge we where there. It was our first time not sure if we order by menu at table or cashier. Nosigns anywhere. Finally after sitting for 15 minutes and it takes me looking at them for someone to say anything. Then I getasked depends what you order you can eat here or take it we close at 8. Bad attitude. She tells the cashier next to me. I hearher. Totally bad costumer interactions. We left and are now eating a delicious Chinese meal next door. We won?t be coming back.They could of been nicer and not make us feel uncomfortable. Read more
