Very friendly, accurate, quick service. Pricing is reasonable. Staff is so courteous and helpful. Short staffed , but the ladies... always get it done. Chocolate covered cherry flurry is on point! I stopped after seeing their sign that said "Thursday Special Chicken & Dumplings". While sitting in line at the drive-through I... wondered why it was taking so long but when I got to the menu board, I figured out why, there was no speaker to place orders. Soeach car drove to the window and sat there until the order was done. When I finally got to the window I ordered the Chicken andDumplings so I could take them for lunch the next day. I also ordered a chocolate dipped cone thinking I could eat that when Igot home. They brought my cone very quick and then said "Now I gotta make the Chicken and Dumplings". I thought that was odd butI sat and waited and waited and finally they brought them to me. My cone had started melting so instead of eating it on my patioat home I had to eat it sitting at the window waiting on my food. The next day I had the Chicken and Dumplings for lunch and itwasn't terrible, just very bland. I think they were probably frozen. I might give them a try again but will definitely not gothrough the drive-thru. Read more
This is an absolute hidden gem. I've lived in the region for 25 years and it took a visit to the dentist to hear about this... great old timey diner. I arrived on a Thursday and enjoyed their dumpling dinner (see picture). The portion was ample, and thedumplings were like mom's. The fried mushrooms were outstanding...great breading. We absolutely LOVE this place! They are so friendly the prices are more than fair and the food is PHENOMENAL. We went through... the drive through and I ordered the fried bologna and egg sandwich for my 2 year old and they cut it in 4 pieces without measking which was really thoughtful! Their chili is delicious!!! I ordered the pint without noodles and she gave it to me in acup with flap lid so I was able to eat it without a spoon on the way home. It's a cafe like experience. Plate lunches at a reasonable price. The decor could use an uplift, kind of bland and run down. ... If you want decent food it's off the restaurant mainstream it's worth a visit. Read more
