We stopped here for late lunch early dinner on the way back to Ohio to visit friends. It was virtually dead which could mean one... of two things either the food is terrible and services terrible or it's just a lull as the day goes by. This place had good food and was clean, the reason for the 4star is that our server acted as though we were a bother by being... there. She was taking great care of customers that appeared to be regulars by the way she bantered and gave them time to orderand filled their drinks but we were not even able complete placing our orders before she was leaving our table. In fact shewalk past our table multiple table but only stopped 4 times, take our drink order, deliver our drinks and collect or food orderwhile she was delivering our drinks, deliver our food and bill, and then lastly the one time I was able to get her to stop so Icould ask her a question which anoid her. ???? Chicken "breast" was more like a slice of chicken breast. Ordered online an hour ahead of 6 pm pickup...order was not ready and... 15 minutes later overcooked slabs were served up. Overpriced, customer service non existent and food sucks!! Read more
We had breakfast. Farmhouse charming style. Ordered a Sunshine for breakfast and it was really good.
Like most restaurants these day, help was in need and staffing was an issue. This place was very busy due to short staffing. But... everyone did their best to please! They all worked extremely hard to serve although the lines and wait was long, the onlyattitudes came from impatient visitors. The staff was well smiled and did everything they found to accommodate! I ended upordering out because it was quicker. I understand the manager was even jumping between cleaning dishes and helping in thekitchen. Great job Bob Evans Team!!! Read more
Ok I only gave 3 stars because I didn't dine in but I love the atmosphere when I walked in. The staff was really nice, it was... very clean in there, and it was very convenient to and from my hotel. I ordered the pot roast and chicken salad to go, I didn'tcheck my order before I left cause it was no one in there so I figured the got it right. I get to my room no pot roast, but thechicken salas was presented well, so I had to go back to get my pot roast. I get back to the hotel and what I got wasdisappointing cause there were no potatoes, carrots or juice on the pot roast, BUT when I taste the pot roast I couldn't even betoo upset no more because it was ssssooooooo good and moist, but I wanted my vegetables. Easy access Bob Evans right off the freeway, easy stop, in, and out, for anyone traveling up or down I-71. Waitresses were... friendly, and efficient. Food was on parr to what is expected at the chain. We all enjoyed our meals. Spacious layout, andnice design as many Bob Evans seem to vary. Only complaint would be the booth for four that we were sat at, was extremelytight, giving us very little room to move or even for placement of menus and food. Incredibly small booths, and, we're allpretty small ourselves. Either which, nice stop right off the freeway, recommended for a quick and easy meal. Read more
Lunch rush. Busy ,but the staff was on it. Had a few minutes to wait before seating and the a small wait for our food. The... waitress was nice. Had some Cole slaw that was not up to pare but was fixed by a substitute salad. Chicken and biscuits weregood, sweet tea, mashed potatoes/chicken gravy with broccoli hit the spot. My sister has had a bad experience or two with blandfood but this time she said it was good. This is the location across from outlet mall in Jeffersonville. Read more
