We held my daughter's wedding at Green Gables this past weekend. Perfection! Teresa was wonderful from the moment the venue... was selected through to the following day when we picked up our items. It is a gorgeous location to hold a reception. Theoutdoor patio was perfect for the cocktail hour. The Tuscany Room offered the perfect romantic setting for the dinner anddancing. Thank you Teresa! I love the look and feel of this beautiful old building. It does have the smell of an old building - my husband says it's... "woodsy". Id call it something else, but I still enjoyed the atmosphere. The menu is very creative and the food was delicious!Our server was terrific. I was sorry to hear that the playhouse is no longer next door. We had our wedding at Green Gables as a last minute venue and it was better than what my first choice would have been. They were... extremely accommodating with my decorations and helped incorporate them into my wedding. They created amazing floralcenterpieces using the vessels I provided. Green Gables staff ensured the day ran smoothly by decorating, conducting therehearsal, and day of. They quickly responded to all my questions. We were able to stay, have our wedding guests stay, have ourrehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all on site. All the guests were asking how I found this hidden gem!
