I came back to this restaurant after almost 10 years! The ocean view and ambience of this restaurant is very unique. We are a... large party of 15 and the restaurant seated us in under 20 minutes inspite of not having a reservation. They have a full barwhich is perfect for entertaining. The menu has great seafood options and a couple of other options. The crocodile tidbits area must try for an appetizer. I tried the Seafood fest - gives you a true feast of everything. The swordfish that my colleaguetried was great too. Service : Given that we were a large group, service was efficient and the server was very attentive. Therestaurant was busy and that did not impact the efficiency. Overall a win! Parking right outside the restaurant is limited butthey have overflow parking across the street. This is a very popular restaurant and stays busy on all days. You can also feedfish from the patio of the restaurant. This was well received by the folks who were visiting FL for the first time. Came for the first time for lunch and had a nice experience. They are doing a lot of renovations to provide better experience.... Our service was great from the moment we arrived until we left. However the food left a lot to desire. The mango daiquiri waswatery and didn’t taste like mango. The fish tacos were a little bland , the gator bites seemed to be mostly batter and nogator and the conch fritters were a bit undercooked. I would be back to try other things, but unfortunately we didn’t lovedanything we had this time around. Read more
A great place for all kinds of different things to try and eat. The first is you have to try the chowders they are delicious and... worth as a starter. Fish tacos were also very good those were pictured. Make sure to get a seat near the water or on the patioit makes the experience that much better. For sure have seafood!! And don't forget to grab one of the big 45oz drinks. Read more
April 2022 - wife found this great place. Staff was great. Food was good. This is a place you have to try. My daughter loved her... spaghetti and wanted more. Wife loved her food. At the time they were during some work around the restraunt. Nothing to takeaway from a good meal. Read more
I had a delicious meal at this restaurant last Thursday. It was very busy, start of the season apparently, but we had made a... reservation and didn't wait long. Some customers were too impatient and demanding that they be seated immediately; staffing waslimited. So, if you go, be patient. The clam chowder was so good, I wish I had ordered more. The blackened fish tacos were alsovery tasty. They were topped with a sweet coleslaw, which really added to the flavor. The lobster and shrimp dip was OK, but Ipreferred the clam chowder. Read more
At the recommendation of the staff at the Marriott we had a lovely relaxing dinner at Conchy Joe's. Upon arrival we noticed... they had valet parking as well as self parking. The hostess took us to our table and we walked passed live music where peoplewere dancing. In the dining room they had space heaters so even though it was a little chilly outside it was very cozyinside. We started with the fish dip then had the stuffed shrimp and salmon. Really outstanding seafood restaurant specializing in Bahamian food. Definitely try the conch chowder. As a 30 year Floridan I... can attest it’s some of the best ever. But it’s very heavy and can make a full meal even for a fat guy like me. The rest ofthe food was also very good. Exception was the corn bread and banana bread which was too doughy, too much flower.
