I have been here many moons ago tto meet an old friend. Could never remember the name or place. Today I stopped in for lunch... to meet a friend and I was surprised to find out this was the place. Loved this place and have been to some great steakhouses. Wife had the skirt steak- Zagat rated and it was fantastic. I had the... 12 oz filet and done to perfection. No appetizers as I wanted to eat my meal. Waiter was fantastic. Hint- tip in cash, it’salways appreciated. Read more
Hands down the best calamari !!! The skirt steak was cooked to perfection .. I really enjoyed the caramelized onions on the... mashed potatoes .. I highly recommend this spot .. the staff was super friendly especially the one gentleman who kept checkingon me .. im guessing he was the owner or manager .. either way I greatly appreciated the service.. The best Romanian Skirt Steak in the world....perfectly marinaded and cooked. The Creamed Spinach is out of this world. ... Definitely the best I ever eaten. It was creamy, had great texture, smooth and delicious! Also the Gorganzola Bread was afantastic way to start the meal. All of this wonderful food paired perfectly with the red wine we were drinking (Abstract byOrwin Swift). BTW - they had a nice wine list. We ate at the bar and our bartender Christine was terrific. She was personable,helpful and made great drinks. This is a pricey place, but you leave feeling that your money was well spent. I will definitelybe back! Update: I came back with my dad for lunch. Once again great staff and delicious food. Our hostess Malika was asuperstar as was our servers Missy and Ignacio. Really terrific people. Helpful, professional and wonderful!
