I was running errands in the area and I thought I would give this well reviewed place a try. I was not at all impressed with... the (savory) food, especially at the price point. The soba noodle salad was 85% noodles with hardly a vegetable to be seen. Itwas overdressed and unremarkable. Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering the grilled eggplant parmesan. This dish doesnot live up to its promise and is a major disappointment for eggplant parmigiana lovers. The grilled eggplant and sauce wasn'tvery flavorsome, and the combination of cheeses was all wrong. I ate a bit of cheese off the top and left the rest, which isunheard of for me. At $28, this dish was vastly overpriced and did not even come with a choice of side unlike the otherentrées. Skip! For dessert I ordered the strawberry and blueberry crisp with peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream. The crispwas divine and the only saving grace of this overpriced meal. Read more

We found this place at random while driving to Planting Fields Arboretum and we were happy we did. While the food wasn't... spectacular enough to warrant a 40 minute drive back just to eat, I would happily come back again if I happen to be in the area. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese (hold the pickled onion) and found it to be on the greasy side, but very cheesy with anice amount of short rib inside. I suspect that the pickled onion would have balanced the sandwich better in terms of salty,sour, sweet, etc - but I'm just not a fan. My girlfriend had the fresh fish sandwich (happened to be fluke) and she liked it -she echoed that it was not out of this world though a very solid dish. Price was a little high for lunch, but consideringfreshness, quality, and the local area I'd say it was about right. Read more
Relaxed atmosphere, great food, nice wine & beer lists, and yummy cocktails. I'm not generally excited about dessert but they... have a delicious carrot cake I shared with my husband on one of our date nights. Read more
