Deliciousness! This place is a surprising gem in Jersey City. Coffee was pristine. Pancakes were to die for with fresh made... compote and syrup. And the basil mayo on the BLT was everything! We sat outside but eventually had to move inside (it was chilly & bees were coming around a lot). Food was okay, but I think... they need to stop cooking home fries with onions, not everybody likes onions. Otherwise it is a cute place. Overall solid 4stars. Read more
Got takeout here and was very disappointed. Food quality was okay but every dish was severely lacking for the price. The TLAC... (Turkey, Lettuce, Avocado, and Cheese), which came with no sides, had a single slice of meat and cheese and barely any avocado.The bread we selected was brioche, and we were given a sandwich between VERY small pieces of stale bread. The Devils Pancakeswere comical. The menu describes them as homemade pancakes with Nutella, fresh strawberry, blueberry, and banana. The pancakeswere thin with Nutella spread on top, but had nothing inside. On top of the stack, there were a few banana slices, half a cut upstrawberry, and 4 blueberries. With the number of great American brunch places in Jersey City, there is absolutely no way tojustify going to Beechwood Cafe for any reason. Read more
Cute place, but I don?t think I?ll come back. For me the wait + music was just a bit much. Food is good though! I ordered a... bacon/egg/cheese sandwich and it took 40minutes. I honestly think they forgot about my order or accidentally gave it to one oftheir delivery orders. Sandwiches don?t take that long. Bacon was better quality than most place though. I wanted to work fromhere a bit, and although internet is fine but the music is a little too loud and eclectic for WFH. Coffee didn?t taste quitefresh, but I got a refill since I sat in so ???????????. Wait staff is very attentive. It?s a 3 but i took a star away cause Iwas charged higher than the menu price some reason. Read more
SO GOOD!! Unique menu items, ample indoor and outdoor seating, relatively reasonable prices, great service. I got the Gangnam... Philly Cheese Steak (had bulgogi stead and pesto) and broccoli salad (with mayo and cranberries) - so delicious. Read more
Such a great breakfast, lunch, brunch place! Casual place with amazing food. Love the Korean menu options especially the Korean... BBQ bowl (a must try!!) Service is fast and efficient and prices quite reasonable. Read more
Pretty decent place for the Brunch ! The food was good and service was quick. Coffee and the pancakes were the standout for... me. We were fortunate to get there on time but soon after some time, there were lot of people waiting to be seated . If you planto visit during weekends, it is better to call them to check on the wait time if any. Would definitely give it another try thenext time? Read more
