Got it off of one of the “bring me my dang food” apps. It did not disappoint. I grew up/still live in the south and it’s... hard to find good soul food anymore, even in the south. Well! This is the SPOT. I got the Oxtails with rice, collards and mac. It was like the lord came down and cooked it herself. Thank you all for this amazing food after a long day. First Time And Last Time There. They messed up my order. I noticed it when I got home. They gave me collards greens , instead of... yams. It was a simple mistake. I called them to let them know ( I asked can I pick of the side of yams the next day, since I was already home) and he told me that I had to bring the order of collards greens all the way back to that hole in the wallrestaurant today in order for me to get the yams... Which was absolutely ridiculous.. Poor customer service. Read more
Inviting Southern cuisine restaurant with a delicious selection of sandwiches, main entreé, sides, desserts and beverages. I do... not feel that my wait is very long whenever I place my take-out order with the friendly counter staff and I notice severalcustomers, come in to pick up their orders and they smile and chat with the staff as well. Orders are cash only, you pay rightafter ordering and there is an ATM provided in the waiting area if needed. My food is always packaged very well and everything Ihave ever ordered has a wonderful aroma and tastes great! Read more

I ordered an hour and 20 before closing and as soon as I put it in they canceled my order super fast. I called to see of if it... was a mistake and the man on the phone told me that they didn’t cancel orders and to just try again. I tried again and thenthey canceled again I tried to call and speak to the same man but they sent me to voicemail . Waste of time Read more
