I usually dont write reviews but I had to for this one. Please dont go its a waste of money and its not like the chowking in the... philippines. Very deceiving when it comes to serving, the menu looks like it gets u full instead you get a 6inch small box withbarely any food. Most of all, food dont taste good! Read more

Ma’am Liza was very accomodating, kind. We love everything about Chowking from siomai, noodles, lumpia, siopao and of course... the halo halo. Good customer service and good food. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Salute to all the staff andmanagement.???????????? job well done. -Liana R. Read more

I’m kinda hesitant if i should give 3 or 4. Went to Chowking hoping for a Pinas taste and ambience. First is the location is... not so accessible.. the staff is ok and they kept the place clean..it’s pretty spacious as well. I don’t usually give badreviews about food but it was kinda disappointing. We ordered the lauriat (still thinking it would be similar to the chowking inthe Ph) but then the servings are so small..the taste is different as well.. so if you’re hoping to get all the nostalgia ofbeing in Chowking in Pinas i advised not to keep your hopes too high.. the lumpia is pretty decent, but they didn’t give any ofthe sauce (maybe we need to ask?) the pansit canton taste so different and not even close to the iconic chowking pansit canton..oh well.. at least the halo halo is decent enough.. pretty pricey as well. I cant recall the last time i ate at chowking. Was many years ago in my hometown Philippines. Just seeing the big sign... outside the building brought me back to my childhood. It is nice to finally have one here in Jeresy. My favorites are the asadosiopao, bola bola siopao, halo halo and siomai. You can also purchase a big frozen bag of siopao or siomai to take home withyou and reheat whenever you want. The serving for the lumpia is pretty small for the price. Definetly try the siomai. Tastegreat with soy sauce and pepper flakes. The sago't gulaman, is another favorite of mine. It is a refreshing drink with ice, gelatin and pearls. I saw they also sold taho, its a soft curd tofu treat with sugar syrup and pearls. This is very popular withthe kids, i remember i had it every morning on my way to school. The saying at the time was it makes you strong and healthy. Thearea is very well maintained. Place was clean and the crew were kind and courteus. There are Plenty of free parking here. Read more

You shouldn’t expect dishes like the ones in the Philippines. It’s a given, that you’ll get other ingredients. Still a... great place with dishes like home. We got Halo Halo 5 minutes before closing and the stuff were absolutely nice and still verysmiley. The Halo Halo was still the best for that price in Jersey/New York area. We’ll be back again! My family travelled long to be here and just feel the Filipino-Chinese food we used to love in the Philippines. It’s quite... expensive for small servings. My kids think the food ain’t that worth. For me, though, I like my halo-halo. But the beef andchicken noodles didn’t taste like we’re in the Philippines. The family gives 3 out of 5. Read more
