So I ordered a salchiPapa through the phone. It took 40 minutes to make one salchipapa order. I have ordered there 2 times this... year. The first time I went the price was $11 plus their credit card machine “didnt work” but it went through. Now that iwent back it was $7.Then when I asked for hot sauce she said it was extra. Mind you if you go to Peruvian restaurants you knowthat your orders comes with hot sauce all the time rather its an empanada or a relleno. When i opened it it had a little bit ofsauce, which wasn't the sauce from before. Very bad experience i didnt even eat it sadly. Read more

Ordered half chicken and a side of fried rice. The rice was a tiny bit salty but not too soggy and generally pretty tasty. The... white meat on the chicken was slightly dry but that’s expected of white meat. The dark meat portion was great. Look at this pollo saltado and leche de tigre. As a Peruvian I can tell you if your lomo saltado or pollo saltado look like... this, there is wayyyy too much soy sauce, the fries were basically black at the bottom of it and the leche de Tigre is supposedto be a lot of liquid and not a chunk of thick blended fish led over, the taste was meh but omg no no no, there is otherrestaurants to try around the area. Ordered the Pescado Frito(Fried Tilapia) with white rice???? and Anticucho (Cow Heart)with potatoes.The Fish???? was seasoned... and fried to perfection and the side of sauce gave the fish an added dash of delicious flavor????.I was expecting the whole fishlike in the photos ????but the actual menu the store gives reflects tilapia.The cow heart was salty and the portion extremelysmall.When my wife opened the container it looked like 2 skimpy shiskabobs.Must of been a baby cows heart????.My wife was veryupset about that????The potatoes was good.My 1st time ordering, not sure if I’ll be ordering again. I don't like places that are stingy with their sauce. I ordered the chicken chaufa, which was super dry btw. They only give you... 1 small packet of green sauce for a large order of dry chaufa. I recommend El Gordo better, which is a couple blocks down oncentral. Read more
