An exceptional and memorable dining and culinary experience. We highly recommend this place. There are plenty of veg and non veg... options. The quality, taste, and temperature of the food were top notch, as was the service and the server that we had.Extremely polite. We even found free parking about a few blocks away! We truly look forward to returning here in it future! It?snicely located near the recently constructed Journal Squared towers, quite the sight to see. The urinals even conveniently tellyou where to pee! In all seriousness this place had great indoor and outdoor ambiance. Perfect atmosphere! Read more

I have been there twice to eat dinner on the patio. Absolute favorite item is the Fried Chicken Dinner. The pecan pie was... amazing. Drinks are also very good. The inside is lovely so I want to go back to eat at the bar. Service is a bit slow sincethere is only one server. I get a kick out of the restaurant being in the middle of Journal Square train station. Perfect pitstop after the commute and before headed home. Read more

This place has quite a lot of potential but they need major improvement. When we went, there were probably only one host waiting... all the tables- so you can say they are severely understaffed. Their tables need to be balanced, most tables are wobbly. Theirfire alarm kept going off. And they had flies flying around (check wine glass picture). Now for the food- it was pretty average.I probably won?t go back anytime soon. Read more

I went to Emma's and tried their Mac and cheese, it was delicious and definitely one of the items I will get all the time .... Fried chicken and biscuits are a match made in heaven and give a real Southern feel. Read more

Such a gem! The food was fabulous and Matt, the bartender was the best! Was in J.C for 4 nights. Went to Emma's every evening!... The brisket, catfish are to die for, as well as the brisket quesadilla! Dessert also, try the pecan pie! Will definitely goback! Read more

Went here for Restaurants Week: we had fried chicken (with the most heavenly biscuit) and blackened catfish. For dessert we had... chocolate chip bread pudding. All very tasty. Since then we have been back twice! We love the atmosphere, the music is great andthe staff is always so friendly. Drinks are also dangerously tasty ???? This place is a new favorite and we look forward tocoming back soon ?? Read more
